I don't see why you could not use it in conjunction with the 400 watt hps
You guessed right bro.
Thought that after asking the question, sorted it out now, there gunna sort me a 240w (4x 60w boards) so i can ditch the hps and the leccy bill that comes with it.

Kind of insulting to HLG to be pitching cheap knock offs in this thread. Would you want someone to do that to you? Start a new thread if you want to promote someone else's light.
It would pay to do some homework on them also. HLG has had people pitch these boards on another forum, well guess what? Someone had them tested. They suck compared to HLG's! HLG did extensive research and expensive testing when designing their boards. They didn't just plop some chips on a board. They chose quality components, even the board itself is higher quality than those Chinese ripoffs! Trying running one of those alibaba boards @ 70 watts without a heatsink..
Anyone buying these boards may as well go to ebay and buy one of those $99 1600watt Burple lights your getting basically the same thing. And I don't se HLG's prices as high compared to the quality. Also, just hope you never have to warranty the Alibaba junk....... I'll guarantee you, you will NOT get the outstanding service that HLG provides!

there's an old saying: Save a penny, spend a dime....

@F.N. ... dude I've got your back, just follow the link my man and you will be enlightened - https://forum.grasscity.com/threads/tutorial-for-240w-qb304-kit-from-alibaba-canada.1501643/

I get it @pop22 you have to be careful of what you buy on Alibaba... I'm just helping a brother out on some wiring and no one is pitching anything, certainly not me, I own HLG QB's. And this isn't just a HLG thread its just a thread, a normal thread to help each other out on build's that have parts that may well be or may not be QB's.:pass:

Btw the chips on those other boards are often Epistar copies of Samsung's chip, and the sellers lie about them being Samsung's, and we all know just how great Epistar is...... and almost impossible to spot unless you inspect the chip under a microscope.

This was a quantum board thread started in the led grow light section. No disrespect to HLG was ever intended. This is a learning thread.

So far if you read my latest post I have put them all away until I figure out why I fried So many leafs and hot spots. So IAM far from happy with what I have purchased IAM hoping dimming them will help.
