What up AFN! This is my first ever attempt at growing. I've learned a ton from this forum so I decided to join in! Im in the dessert where the dry winters are rough. My RH is normally around 25%. Id like to double it somehow but its been hard. Im sure I'm going to make a bunch of mistakes and bad calls, but thats what this experience is all about right?

My set up...

4x4x7 grow tent
600w air cooled reflector hood with glass
600w mh bulb for veg
600w super hps bulb for flowering
600w digital dimmable ballast
18/6 cycle...

Medium: FF Happy From straight up, no chaser. In 3 gallon smart pots. I will be using GH Flora trio for nutes.

440 cfm inline fan w/power controller
For the exhaust and lights..
240 cfm inline duct fan w/power controller for intake

Gear: 2x White Cheese Autos and 2x Pinneapple Kush.. Both from MSNL. I wanted to start super cheap and have room for error. Got 5 of each for about 40 bucks. I did load up on Mephisto gear on black friday! I plan to reward myself if this first grow goes well.

Today is day 14 from seed. I've started LST on both cheese plants and one of the Kush girls. The two cheese plants seem to be exploding.. While the pineapples are dancing to their own rhythm..

Any and all adivse is welcomed and more than likely, NEEDED! Pull up chair and help a brotha out!!

*The 2 plants with the label facing backwards are the pineapple kush plants

Welcome brother. Get to it. A word of caution: Start training those girls early. The more you can control the height of your canopy evenly throughout the tent the better the grow will go. I am running a grow that was not so well planned and it has taken a great deal of effort to keep it in check. Better to have 20 strong buds than to have one massive cola that causes you to keep your light too far from the other plants.

You definitely have the gear to be growing some monsters. Makes sure you head over to the intros and live stoner chat thread and introduce yourself. This forum is filled with very skilled and helpful growers that will live vicariously through your successes.

Welcome @Prophetiko You're off to a good start. If you can't swing a few bucks for a humidifier in your tent, I suggest a pan of water, with a wet towel hanging from inside of it, wicking the water from pan. Point a fan at it and you should be able to raise RH to a decent %. Good luck!

Thanks! I have a one room digital humidifier in the tent. Its set at 85% rh. The highest reading Ive gotten in the tent is 41%. I think the exhaust may be the culprit.

Maybe if you get a speed controller for the exhaust fan, you can keep more humidity in?

That's a good point. Looking at what you have for exhaust and intake, you may be able to use the 240cfm for exhaust and use passive intake. Or, the 440 for exhaust, again using passive intake and speed controller, to deal with any heat issues that may arise. With all that air exchange you're having now,I'd say that's definitely the humidity sucker.
I have a 240cfm exhaust with all three intake flaps open, in my 4x4x7 tent.

Day 18... Ive got some leaf discoloration going on. Cant quite diagnose it. Any Ideas? Or anyone know what this is? Leaves are turning a light green in areas.... New growth on the Pinneapple Kush is yellow and wilted looking. These are pics of one auto cheese and one pinneapple kush.
