New Grower Prophs 1st ever grow... Indoors.. Autos only.

I don't know which ones which. One pic shows mag and cal def. the lightness being mag and the rust spots cal. This will work its way up the plant if you don't give it a good dose of Ca/Mg.

The other pic, Idk ma. Those twisted leaves and odd look in general is above my help. @Waira is the man for that.

You may want to give him the rundown on everything before he gets here, he will ask anyway. If you don't hear from him before watering time, I would give them both some Ca/Mg, to be safe. But, that's an opinion. Waira brings the facts.

Edit: you have some experienced guys following here. You will get right.

:smoking: Hey Prof'-- can you get me some more close-up of the damaged leaves? Some of the symptoms are rather odd-- the dead tissues at the "palms" of the leaves,.. new growth damage smacks of nute burn, and/or an off pH in the soil... With FF soils, it's been a dubious gamble with them lately, often with badly off pH soil right out of the bag..talking low 5's here! :yoinks: :nono: ... have you tested soil pH yet? And what feeds have you done (dosage, etc.)? HF is fairly mild soil as is,... I'll check in later, gotta run now,...

Thank you soo much for replying!! Here is the run down and a few more pics...

Week 0-1... Just ph'd water..
Week 1-2... Flora trio of nutes at 1/4th strength.
Week 2-3... Flora trio of nutes at 1/2 strength. Last Sunday I noticed little holes in a few leaves of each plant. They looked to perfect to be insect bites.. I searched for insects but didnt find any. So I thought maybe light burn from water drops left on the leaves..But to be safe, I bought Safer 3-in-1 spray and used it on all four plants. That was this past Tuesday.. Friday is when I noticed the discoloration and wilted looking new growth, took pics and posted them.
Week 3-4... Today I a ph check of the soil.. All four plant soils are at a solid 7. So based on yours and Namvets knowledge, I leaned towards nute burn since today I found yellow tips in a few places... So I decided to take some sort of action and did a light flush on all four plants using only ph'd water.. and checked the ph of the run off for all four plants.. 5.9 was the lowest. 6.1 the highest. I also rechecked for insects (jewelers magnifying glass) and saw/found none. I took these pics right after the flush. Im hoping things get better from here...

....Hmmm, roasted tips, margins-- lookin' nute-burn related Proph', maybe that jump to 1/2 str. was too much,...it can be a cumulative thing over successive feedings, and happen fast! Some of the older damage happened the same way likely, and what happens is, as the leaf grows out, the damages areas mess with the even spread of the leaves, especially if it has hit veins and midrib,...as it grows, tissue warp and twist, holes seem to grow, tears get bigger, etc.,... I sure does look similar to bug damage, but bugs that do create holes and such are the larger types, no missing them! Earwigs like to make holes, and those fuckers run and hide after! Unlikely you have them though,...
Noted the pH readings,.. straight run-off pH testing is dubious at best; check out this improved run-off pH method and calculation, which addresses some of the sources of measurement error inherent in it,... https://www.autoflower.org/threads/...-for-run-off-testing-and-ph-estimation.41733/

.. that said, it's hard to say what your true starting pH is and the run-off... following the calculation with these numbers, your run-off is pretty acidic, and soil is off pH as well; feeds acidify, BTW,.. are you pH'ing inputs? Since you flushed already, you'll have to wait until she dries some to saturate the soil again, and that test will,... skip feeds, water at 7.0 or higher a bit if you can,... What source is it BTW?

Thanks for the response. I use tap water ph'd to 6.5. I think I stumbled onto the culprit.. Or the majority of it... My digital thermometer was in the front corner of my tent.. My light was about 24" from the plants.. My reading would be 77 degrees and 40% humidity.. Its been this way for 3 weeks.. I put the thermometer in between my plants and the temp shot up 92 degrees. So I raised my light a good a mount and added an oscillating fan. Got it steady at 79 now... Under the lights!!.Im sure the discoloration and disfigurement was from heat stress and the holes from water burn from the lights. I definitely think nutes were an added factor so I will not feed for a while. Definitely no bugs.. Did another detailed search and cleaned and disinfected the tent just in case.. But im 100% that I dont have insects. These issues were all self inflected, rookie mistakes. And im ok with that! Lol. I still think they will produce. They are starting to look a little better already.

Eekmon- :jointman: :pighug:

...:yoinks: whoa Proph', that's a big discrepancy mate, good spot! yes, heat can contribute to it all, but the underlying cause(s) is still in play, so watch the new growth for further symptoms, and when you start nutes again, go back to 1/4 str. and ease back into it,... Check that soil pH using the method linked if things don't improve,..at that point likely, you'll have to do a flush anyway,... keep you water at 7.0 for now too,...

Day 24 today. We've made it through some pretty rough patches! Lol.. But luckily all 4 started to pre-flower at 21 days, which seems to be about the average. I havent watered for fed them since the flush last week. The new growth is looking muccchh better. I think I will hold off feeding nutes for another week just to be safe.

Back from the dead I guess.... Lol... Sheeez.. Its crazy how much you can learn in 3 weeks! I think I screwed up enough to actually think I may be successful sooner or later! I mean, you can only screw up SO much right?!! Lol.. Thank you all for sharing your knowledge. AFN is a gold mine!!

Sooo.. On Dec. 17th my plants looked like a lost cause. I tried soo many unnecessary things to correct issues I didnt even have, that I felt like I didnt give the plants a fair shot... Plus they were dying.. So after following the advice of everyone who posted, even the very first comment from one comment that said I that said to scrap every thing and start over! Turns out they were right. And luckily on the day he made that comment (12-9) I germinated 2 more seeds as my back up plan. 1 Pineapple Kush and 1 White Widow.

On Dec. 17th I pulled all four sick plants.. Re set up my tent. Dialed it in for 3 days prior to re use. Humidity and temps are now locked in. I dimmed my 600w hps down to 75% (450w) and added a 300w led to mix up the spectrums. Mixed my soils better.. Dumped the flora line of nutes for something more organic based (General Organics Go box).. And cut out all nutes until day 18..

Then on Dec. 25th, I germed two more seeds (Unsure of what they are because I forgot to label them.. I think they are both white cheese autos) and placed them in jiffy pots..

So... As of today.. I have 1 Pineapple Kush that is on day 30 today.. She has taken a hell of a beating and wont stop growing.. Lst'd, topped, ponytailing and light defoliation. Tops and bud sites everywhere. I decided to use her as my muse since she was taking it well. And again, you can only screw up so much right!?!

The WW took 4 days longer to sprout. 12-13 is when it broke soil.. The seed looked horrible and I was doubtful that it would even germ. It was slow out of the gates.. I almosted pulled her at 14 days because her stem was soooo thin and she only had one set of leaves.. Im glad I didn't pull her. She's coming along.

The two youngsters are on day 14 and looking good under the led lights so far. No real pics of those because well, you've seen enough two leaf plants in your day!

First 3 pics are of the kush kid... Then a group shot... Then the last four are of the widow.
