New Grower Prophs 1st ever grow... Indoors.. Autos only.

Day 42 update! Welcome to week 6 of life. Uncharted territory for myself so the learning spike is crazy!! The White Widow has taken off since my last update. I left her be (no trainging, topping ect.) in order to compare it to the Pineapple Kush plant, which is growing nicely now as well. Theu both got a mini flush this week as I start bloom nutes. I switched from the G.O. box to the Nectar For The Gods line up. The plants seem to respond to it better in flowrer than they did the G.O. line


Anywho.. On to the pics... Up first, Auto White Widow... (1st set of three pics).. Then the Pineapple Kush (2nd set of 3 pics).. And lastly both together.

Pineapple Kush- Day 51 Update

More uncharted territory!! Yaaayy! Lol.. Never been this far into flowering before so when I started loosing fan leaves I freaked! It started low and worked its way up a little bit. I started checking everything. But everything was dialed in. Jumped in the forum and learned that as long as long as the "sugar leaves" are fine, then this is perfectly normal. And the sugar leaves look GREAT. They are starting to white up. She was topped at 17 days and has a bunch of colas that MIGHT have been bigger had I left her alone, but I did it to learn. The buds are starting to put on weight and the hairs are no longer just white. There are strands of oranage, amber, a tiny hint of blue as well. Im thinking 2 weeks, 3 max, before she's done. Anyone else care to take a guesstimation? She got a full feeding today.. Run off at 1380 ppms.. Feedings have been below 1500 durring flower. I think I will start flushing next week around day 56-60. Does that sound about right?

White Widow- Day 48 Update:

This monster has finally stopped growing. The main cola is about 6 inches from my lighting and it is raised as high as it can go. My tent is 83 in tall. This thing is a good 3 feet with the pot. It looks like it will end up going about 80 days. It is just now starting to put on bud weight. She was left untouched. No lst of any sort. I just let her go natually to use as a comparison to the Pineapple Kush, which went through the gauntlet. She is starting to loose her fan leaves at the bottom as well. About a week after the PK started the same process. I didn't freak out, lol. This WW plant has some FUNK to it. Pretty strong scent. Soil ph, run off, temps ect. are all dialed in. Pretty excited about the next 2-3 weeks!

Dope! We have a lot in common. I have the Vipar 60p and a 600 hps as well! I only have 1 tent though. I was thinking about getting a second and running them separate. I just took down my hps set up yesterday and I am finishing up flowering under the vipar to get a sneak peak on how it will work out. Im really tired of all the temp control and noise and wasted energy with hps.. But can seem to totally kick it to the curb yet. I also want to experiment with the trellis. I have 6 mesphisto I just popped in soil, im thinking of trying the scrog with those 6. Your grow looks a great bro! Very inspiring!

I'm curios to see how far would the 600w led but I would not change it for the 600hps for flower.
I'm going the other way, I'll use the led for veg and early flower. But until I get some decent COB set up I'm not giving up the HPS
I have it on a electronic dimmable ballast. So I use the same 600w HPS bulb but start at 400w then 600 wand last 2 weeks 660w or super lumen as they call it.
Everywhere I read the same problem happens with these kind of LED. They fail in comparison to HPS in flowering.
Let's see I'll wait until they are 20 days and I put the led on full bloom and give them more light. As they grow bigger I think I'll need the full spectrum if I want to reach lower branches.
Maybe this is me still thinking in Lumens....
