Exciting indeed. Im researching the harvest process everyday to prepare. Wont be much longer for the PK plant. I'm learing that you can only use the "harvest time" provided from breeders as a ballpark. We really have to listen to and watch the plant. It will tell us more than the breeder notes ever could. That WW may go 90 days. Breeder said 8-9 weeks. Lol..

Started the flush today on the Pineapple Kush. I'm thinking it will take about a week for a full flush. The starting ppm of the run of was 1245. Im using 3 gal smart pots and flushed with about 4 gals of RO water. Got the ppms down to 610. I will do the same thing next watering and hopefully get the ppms down to around 150 and let the plant ride out from there. The trichs are all still clear, but I've read that that could change in a matter of hours or days, so I will keep a close eye on it. Regaurdless, she will be chopped by next weekend, which will put us at the 70-75 day mark.

Pineapple Kush Update
Day 65

I started the flush last week. Did the 2nd flush today and got the ppms down to 220. Im ok with that since I started with reg tap water that was around 150-200. The last gallon of water was 1tsp of Herculean Harvest and 4ml of H&G Bud XL each flush. Ppm of that combo is about 90. I like that HH will breakdown the stored salts and convert it into usable energy. Bud XL will pull the sugar from the sugar leaves and transport them to the buds.
I used a 60x jewelers loupe today and noticed the first few amber trichs. I'm doing maaddd research on drying/curing because its coming quick!

Day 62

No real change to report here, except for the fact that the main cola is really starting to take form. I had to put in a support because it was starting to lean from the weight. One of the main reasons I topped all the plants so far, except this one, is because I'm not a fan of the main cola concept. I think the main cola is why this one will finsih much later than the kush plant. Im guessing a full 85-90 days on this one. Shes just drinking and swelling.. Drinking...and swelling.

Welp.. I decided tonight to start harvesting in stages. The Pineapple Kush is getting the blade.. Well, some of it is! Since the first two plants are my learning curve plants, I might as well get my learn on. Today is day 67.. Trichomes are milky with a few ambers. Im going to harvest a few branches to give lower buds more light and energy so they can get a little more ripe before day 70 ish. Wish me luck.
