Indoor A 2x4 And Nothing More

MS: Day 63
Ripley: Day 56
MS is really showing some nice colors. She got fed yesterday without silica. I am plucking off the dead leaves but otherwise just admiring her beauty.
Ripley is starting to bulk up and looks like she is going to be a real giver. Senescence has started ever so slightly.
Under canopy lighting is still at 80 watts and measuring 29 DLI a foot away from center of light.

MS: Day 70
Ripley: Day 63.
At this point both are only getting fed every two days with no additional water in between. Cruising on into the finish line.

MS: Day 73
Most of the tops were harvested. They were placed in paper lunch bags and stored in the garage to dry.

Wow beautiful colors on those! I know the fade is just the end of the plants life but they look really pretty.

MS: Day 77
Today was chop day. Smelling the flowers I’m getting an acrid, sharp, bright grapefruit smell. Touching the flowers leaves a slippery feeling, possibly a heavier cuticle encasing the resin? This is the first time I have taken the tops and allowed the lowers to mature.
one thing I noticed is they took on some purple making them prettier. Root structure was solid and filled the entire 7 gallon container. I always wash the root ball to inspect the health and size of the tap root.
Overall very happy with result

Ripley: Day 70
She now is rocking it by herself. I lowered the light, reduced output to 50% and DLI is 25 to 33 at top of canopy. Currently running 220 watts and will finish out at these numbers. Plucking the dead leaves is loading my fingers up with extremely tacky resin. She is now very thick and heavy, without support the branches would be lying on the floor.

Ripley: Day 73
All tops were harvested and are processing the same as the Mango Smile.

Ripley: Day 78
Take down day. She has a fruity gas smell and colored up nicely.
The resin left on my glove from trimming was unreal. The roots on the perimeter and bottom were a bit lacking.
Overall it was a solid run and just need to slightly increase the amount of top dress I give them at day 21.

After every grow I do a deep cleaning by wiping down with wet paper towels the entire tent, fans and lights.
I finish by spraying 91% isopropyl alcohol on the tent walls and grow pots.
I decided to try 10 gallon pots due to the potential size these girls can grow to. I have a couple standard 10 gallon pots but chose these trash cans because they are deeper instead of wider like the standards.
My thought is gaining the depth will get a bit more veg time before roots hit the bottom.
Seeds are soaking and will break ground this weekend. Should be a fun grow.
