I'm using 2 gallon pots. I'm figuring to end up with 8-9 females. If I am successful in having autos in this generation, I'll grow 4 in 3 gallon grow bags next round, see what we can get from them!
My concept of growing a 1 pound+ plants is simple really. I plan to grow one organically in soil. When growing in soil organically, there's only one way to grow a bigger plant: use a BIGGER pot..............LOL
You also need to max your lighting. And the third component you need is enough space. I plan on scrogging the plant as that makes max use of both the space and available light.
So yes, all those fancy nutes, phony "bud enhancers", etc are totally unnecessary. In my test of House and Garden for Soil A and B, I saw no difference in plant health or size from my organically grown plants in the same grow. Size wise, they only matched the two medium size plants and one was the second smallest.
Certaqinly not a scientific test, but indicative none the less, that organics can and do equal mineral ( chemical is not an accurate label, even organic nutes are "chemical" ) .nutes
so I plan to use a 20 gallon ( 75 liter ) pot to grow my auto Ultimate. If I don't get a 1 pounder, I'll try a 30 gallon pot!!!
Hey pops what size gallons pots are you using on them 22? in the pics bro, and if you had to summarize how to hit a one pounder what would your key points be? . In the past i always went for 10-15 litre pots and crammed the tent full but after being shown a friends grow recently with some huge pots only 2 in total and every time he hits 10-15 oz per lady i seen the light! nothing special on feed being used and two 600 whatt lights these are photos he grows but i got no doubt the right auto strain would provided similar results. my feeling is light / pot size / room temp / feed . Is the key to a big yields you dont have to do any thing special hes not using air pumped water special nutes sched just nice clean tent good circ room temp always 26-20 and massive pots he only vegging 4 weeks and using 600hps what your thoughts.
