And a new round of Blue Dragon started! I put 30 seed to soak this morning and have been filling 2 gallon pots with my simple organic soil, which is:
BASE
5 gallons of Black soil
5 gallons of recycled soil ( not needed, you can add a bag of organic potting soil instead )
2 gallons composted cow or steer manure
and here's where i differ from most soil mixes
substitute coco coir from peat moss or perlite
a brick of coir is cheap and it makes many gallons! coco hold both water and aire well, and the micro life loves it too!
add 3 gallons of coco coir to this mix
Then:
2 cups lime
1/2 cup epsom Salts ( don't be fooled, there is no difference if its from the pharmacy or the grow shop )
I added a 1/2 cup of GrowMore Organic Flower and Bloom, and 3 gallons of worm castings,as this time as the recycled soiled may have been depleted by hungry Dragons..........
I anticipate having 24 plants this time in a hunt for a full autoflower from this generation, which I'll breed for seed. Hoping there re several really! I plan to keep the "super auto" version ( they don't autoflower.. ) strain going also, at least until I see how the autos turn out, these girls even non-autoing are great plants!
