Indoor Pop22's 2015 Indoor Garden

Wow, those dragons are making me drool. Sorry about your friend this is a bad time of year for my wife too. She lost her son on Halloween a few years back. Glad to see you're back at it.

If I get them to full auto, i'm going to try to make them available to the public as I think this is really turning out to be a very good cross. I pollinated a couple buds on 2 plants. chances are I'll have autos in the next grow. I'll isolate them and breed them.

I harvested one plant a few days before the rest. Weighed the dry bud today, 25 grams from that one plant! Now those plant because they started in a Sea Of Green had very little side branches. I'm hoping this is average for these girls! that would give me 225 grams! I'm figuring 20 grams average though, so still a good harvest of top shelf bud!

And a new round of Blue Dragon started! I put 30 seed to soak this morning and have been filling 2 gallon pots with my simple organic soil, which is:

BASE
5 gallons of Black soil
5 gallons of recycled soil ( not needed, you can add a bag of organic potting soil instead )
2 gallons composted cow or steer manure

and here's where i differ from most soil mixes
substitute coco coir from peat moss or perlite
a brick of coir is cheap and it makes many gallons! coco hold both water and aire well, and the micro life loves it too!
add 3 gallons of coco coir to this mix

Then:
2 cups lime
1/2 cup epsom Salts ( don't be fooled, there is no difference if its from the pharmacy or the grow shop )

I added a 1/2 cup of GrowMore Organic Flower and Bloom, and 3 gallons of worm castings,as this time as the recycled soiled may have been depleted by hungry Dragons..........

I anticipate having 24 plants this time in a hunt for a full autoflower from this generation, which I'll breed for seed. Hoping there re several really! I plan to keep the "super auto" version ( they don't autoflower.. ) strain going also, at least until I see how the autos turn out, these girls even non-autoing are great plants!

dARRRRRRRGGGHHHHH!!! DAMN SPIDERMITES!!!!!!!!!!

Found them in the MOB and my 2 little DB seed plants! Chopped the MOB and seed plants. I sealed up the tent that has the Dragon's Blood as they still appear to be bug free. sprayed the big DB with an organic mite spray, then covered her with a trashbag and tied it off at the base of the stem. This way, whats on the plant can't escape and will die from the treatment. I'll open the bag and dose her again before I leave. Hoping a couple days won't hurt her, but I'd rather lose another plant than deal with spidermites!

THEN I set off a HotShot bug bomb to fumigate the whole room.
Today its vacuum and the wash the whole room with 10% bleach and water, I've even put that in a spray bottle and will hit all corners and the ceiling, window case, etc. Then another vacuuming. Going to NH for a couple days and when I get back, i'm bombing the room again! I'm determined to get rid of those little terrorists!

Now that the room is cleaned, I planted the Blue Dragons that just sprouted. Germ rate was fantastic! 29 out of 30! Makes me feel better after the dismal 17% germ rate I had for my Dragon's Blood seeds!
I planted the best looking 22. Hoping I get some auto's this time. These are an F3 generation that was pollinated by a (hopefully) auto male.

Your more than welcome to join! Hopefully, they will match or exceed the last batch I just recently chopped. I've gone to 2 gallon pots this time, I used 1 gallon pots the last grow.

I'll be posting an update tomorrow!
