Well, the big YDB is chopped and now its time to plan the next grow in the growroom! And thats a puzzle at the moment. I'm undecided how to go. I'm considering doing a DWC grow. But if so, how many buckets should I use? 1? 2? 4? And if so, what srtain? I'm considering doing a photoperiod, maybe a KC Brains KC White. Blue Dream, or an Emerald Triangle Mastodon Kush.

Or............I may do something else entirely!

How big is your grow space Pop? If I were doing photo's I'd go for the Mastodon Kush

4'x4'x7' and yea, but I grow a lot of Indicas and would like a Sativa dom just for giggles..lol! Really leaning towards Blue Dream

Of course how could I not remember that BD is very satti dominant, changed my mind I would go with the BD. You should get two decent sized plants in there with a little bending and tying up, how long do you normally veg for?

well I don't time my photos. i veg them until I feel they are ready usually 30-40 days depending if I topped them etc. And yes, I'm thinking 2 plants scrogged!

Don't forget satti strains take much longer to flower some up to 12 weeks, my mate grows Cinderella haze every now and then and he lets his veg for just 3 weeks before flipping to 12/12 and they can get quite a size, but I'm telling you how to suck eggs or whatever the saying is, best of luck and I will definitely be following along. I miss growing photo's outdoors as that's all I grew before finding auto's, maybe next year I'll pluck up the courage and drop a couple in along the fence and heavily train them I've been in the new house a couple of seasons now and the neighbours all keep themselves to themselves so roll on next April.

And yet I have a craving for White Widow too....lol! Hmmm I'm liking putting 2 plants in the soilponics pot..may give it another go!

Ok, here's what I'm thinking. Go to 30 gallon totes for the soilponics. 2 Kc Brains KC White. Bend the over like I did the YDB, going in opposite directions to fill the net! Not set on the choice of plant yet, but I'm going to do the bigger pot for sure! I may ad a 20 gallon res and control tank also so I'd only have to top up every week or so.

Ok I lied...... LOL! Really, I need to grow out several of the Dragon's Blood seed I just harvested. I'm goi ng to grow several in three gallon pots. I need bud right now so the testing the limits grows are on hold till I get one grow of DB and finish the tent of Blue Dragon.

Going to miss the greenhouse till spring.........

Sorry for the erratic updates. Recovery from the rotator cuff surgery has been less than pleasant..........

Anyway:

I've reversed my grows. The Blue Dragon SOG is now the BD Forest of Green........... I had no choice but to move them to the growroom, they got HUGE after I took out the males! My tallest plant is 41" tall......... in a ONE gallon pot! these plants are beasts! The Blueberry Headband mother was a big girl and I like this trait in my plants. So i have 9 BD in the 4'x4' space and they fill it well yet with a little space to let light to all plants. They are closing on mid flower I believe. These are a bit stinky, but not overpowering. Smell is like brunt toast and pine.

In the tent are now 9 Dragon's Blood in 3 gallon grow bags. I started with 17 seedlings and pick the 9 best by looks. The other will remain in their 24 ounce pots ( cottage cheese containers, best seedling pots ever! ) I'll also breed a pair of these. in fact, I may use one or two females for my first STS test! Fem DB!!

sorry no pics yet but I feel tomorrow I'll be able to take a few pics finally, my arm started working better today....WOOO HOOO!

good to hear from you Pop. hope alls well with the rotator cuff and healing nicely. you can still get a nice plant in a 24oz cup I think
