Especially since you lose 75 to 80 percent of the weight when you dry.
I wish breeders listed dry harvest weight instead of wet! after losing 75-80% in water weight, you lose another small percentage after final trim. I usually do a preliminary trim to remove all fan leaves and leaves with a stem i can easily get to, then when it dry and ready to be bucked down into jars i do another trim and remove anything left that i dont want, trim, larf, sugars etc. probably losing another 3-5% of final weight

I was gonna say grow bigger plants, but I guess you don't have room right now.

It varies so much though, so whatever number they give would just be BS.

The results I get in dirt vs coco vs hydro are so different.

Youre right, there are too many variables for a spot on number. But when they say “Up to ???g per sqaure meter” i read that breeders use wet weight numbers. I always thought that was weird, ive honestly never weighed my wet harvest lol. I wish they gave a dry and trimmed number so it would be more realistic. My goal is to blow those numbers out of the water, with dry weight numbers!

There is a few breeders that will tell you the truth. I believe ronin gardens normally says they get a zip or two from a plant. Thats legit. Not 500 grams per square meter or foot or whatever they say. . I didnt know they did wet weight. I figured they just gave numbers of there best plant but dry atleast.

I was assuming when they say "per square meter" they're talking multiple plants to get that, so I divide by 4 to get an estimate for a single plant. Although some single plants could fill up a 39" x 39" tent, it could also be 4 plants wedged in there. Maybe that number is more useful for commercial grows trying to maximize yield in a huge greenhouse or warehouse.

I understand that. When you start doing the math tho, those numbers per plant end up tiny, especially considering its wet weight. It just seems to be misleading to me, but has become the standard to advertise wet weight. Example : up to 500gr per meter square, call it 4 plants, thats 125gr per plant, minus 80% water weight, equals 25gr per plant, its still just 100gr. Thats less than 1/4lb per meter square. Id be bummed if thats all i could get lol.

Started pollinating today. Marked a couple branches on both the Blappleberry and Witness Protection and hit them with some pollen from the STS converted Runtz.

this guy is getting close, the seeds in it are very ready, too. Nice camo patters on them.

It is a Blue Microverse x Sour Hound.

I used STS spray on 2 plants, Blue Microverse x Sourhound and Lil Mobstar x Livers.

So, I will have

(Blue Microverse x Sourhound ) x ( Blue Microverse x Sourhound)
and
(Blue Microverse x Sourhound) x (Lil Mobster x Livers)

Both are exceptionally nice crosses so I'm excited to see what happens with crossing the two of them.

In the back of the tent on the right is a "Blue Funke", its Sugar Cookies x Blue Microverse.

Its not quite ready, but when it is, I'm going to cross it with the the Runtz as well. Might as well, since I have the male with the pollen. Can't ever have enough seeds, especially feminized seeds. And the runtz I've grown have been super nice plants with dark purple flowers and very fruity flavor.

Do you make your own STS or do you buy it pre made?

I bought it on amazon.

I think it was around $40 and I've reversed 4 plants. 1 failed, so I've only gotten pollen off 3. There is probably enough left to do one plant.

I'm a bit heavy handed with it because the first one failed to reverse, so I really soak those F'ers down starting young and until I see plenty of pollen sacks. I think I sprayed my current one 6 times.
