Sorry for the late update, didn't have time to do it the other day.

So I'll start off with the plant that's closest to harvest, one of my S1'd Super Skunk Autos.
It's starting to get real frosty and starts to put on some weight now. Has a super fruity smell to it, tuttifrutti candy is what I would describe it as.

I'm kinda bummed though as I spotted some aphids under some leaves of the main khola today, pulled those leaves out and removed as many of those little fuckers as I could find, but I don't wanna spray anything at this stage.
Might have to water-cure this one after harvest if it gets worse, would be a bummer, but better than smoking dead bugs...

Next one is the Dinafem Kush-n-Cheese, it has stopped stretching just in time and is now starting to develop its buds.
She's a friggin' beast, almost as tall as me. Peep those 4 funny branches coming out of the first node.

The new line-up in the tent, mostly photos but there's some Sour Hound by Mephisto, Northern Lights Auto by Royal Queen Seeds, and Big Auto Speed Bud by Female Seeds

That's it for today, I'll update on the other plants asap.

Alright, so on to the 3 White Diesel Hazes from Sensi Seeds/White Label. They're turning out really nicely, starting to beef -up a bit.

Looks like I got 2 different phenos, two more sativa-leaning, taller plants:

IMG_20160512_161238.jpg

And a more indica-leaning one, stouter with big sturdy branches:

They're starting to stink, but for now it's just that generic citrusy, danky smell. I'm sure it'll develop into something more interesting soon though.

Here's the Blue Amnesia by Dinafem, pretty short plant but the nodes are packed, main khola is gonna be pretty nice when it's done I think:

Some baby bud shots of my two White Widows by Zambeza:

Here's my little Dark Devil that damped off and got the stem broken, it's now finally started to root back and show new growth, in the form of this weird 3-leaved node and it looks like it's starting to flower, gonna be a funny little bonzaï haha

Mini bud shot of my beefiest S1'd Super Skunk Auto, definitely slower to flower than the one I showed you yesterday with the aphids though:

More updates on the other Sweet Seeds red strains and other plants coming soon

Good looks TBK ! Mine all officially broke soil today, excited for the season this year. I wish I could grow right outside my door.. :coffee2:

Sorry to see the aphids, I've seen some on the perennials I have in my flower bed - it is early for aphids.. Hope they do not get worse.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks Woolly, I am definitely grateful for my spot it's a blessing to be able to watch on your girls from your window. Good luck with your season!

About the aphids, they did get worse but thankfully they didn't spread to any other plants.
Yesterday I thoroughly sprayed the infested plant with an infusion of mint, lavender and tobacco and killed about a hundred aphids by hand while inspecting it.
I also quarantined her next to a rosebush I'm willing to sacrifice, I'm hoping they'll migrate to it. I will keep spraying for a few days and if that doesn't do it then I'll just wash the aphids off the buds at harvest.

well good luck with that man, i HATE aphids they are my number one enemy and a very tough one to beat! I can only offer one suggestion in case you lose the fight you will have to water cure the buds, its the best solution to get rid of the aphids and their little white shit that they infest the buds with. Unfortunately even if you kill them with the spraying during flowering their tiny corpses get stuck in the crystals and are very hard to get rid of otherwise.

Thanks man, I friggin hate aphids too that's for damn sure haha!

The spraying seems to have worked though, can't spot anything but a few dead ones here and there. I didn't really believe in that grandma recipe but tobacco really works wonder to kill the damn things, and mint & lavender seem to deter them pretty good too.

I'll water-cure that one for sure though, might even run the whole plant for some fresh-frozen bubble I think...

hey man i have an irelevant question to ask you, you say you grew them inside for a few days, im completely ignorant of lights and indoor grows but i was thinking that i could get a cardboard box and buy one of these 125w cfl lights, dress the box with aluminum foil maybe and put a few tiny seedlings i have going for a few days under 24 hour light , in their foam cups, hoping to gain some time before i put them outside. It seems to me that veg is boosted whenever people grow them inside. What do you think? and would they be ok without ventilation? I just wanna leave them from sprout to a week or so before i introduce them outside.Would it be worth it or pointless?
