Indoor Organic perpetual monthly harvest

Never mind the originals mix question. I went back and saw it was Kind soil and Roots. Cool. I am subbed!

Yes that was the original soil. Somewhere in the middle of this journey as I learned more about the soil requirements I changed things up.

This is my soil that I have been using for multiple grows.
I make 2 cu ft at a time., which is 15 gal
5 gal Sphangum peat moss
5 gal Earth Worm Castings ( you can also use organic compost or mix the two)
5 gal of Pearlite
I then add amendments from KIS Organics. They have the best organics out there in my opinion.
After each harvest I chop the roots up and put them back in the dirt and add a top dressing of about 1 inch of EWC that I water in.

Thats It. nothing else but water till harvest day with the only exception being I will use a Roots organic tea once a week in flower.

Which tea from roots organic are you using?
I just used their terp tea bloom for the 1st time this past week. I’m thinking about using it and the earlier veg tea as well on the next round

That spinds like a great mix to me. Looks like it's treating you well, by the looks of the plants. Thanks for the tip on chopping up the roots and adding back in. Will def try!

Does that smell as awesome it sounds lol

Man, and how! Especially in the beginning. Once it brews for a while the smell dissipates into something more earthy. But that first day is a killer!

I brew my compost tea using TeaLab Lifecube Compost mix, and add fish powder, bat guano, EWC, and some other dry amendments. Good stuff!

That looks like a good recipe. EWC is where it is at in my opinion. I am working to get my Worm farm started. I have a HUGE compost pile already that is 6 months old.

Thanks man. I am really just experimenting with some stuff that I know the soil would love, and will tweak in between grows from here. It's a very different style than DWC that I am used to, so it's like starting all over again. The main thing that I have learned is you have to plan ahead with organics. Prepare soil in advance, top dress two weeks before you need to, etc. With DWC, your just change the reservoir, and the plants instantly react. I expect that I won't grow a single large a plant with TLO, but from what I have been reading, the taste and effect Amy Ben worth it. In any case, it already has been a mUgh more low maintenance process. I tired of mixing and changing reservoirs weekly!

Yeah, composting is my next step for sure. Will definitely help during Spring when I throw a few pots outside. Cheers!
