Indoor Nice Option's Garden of Intergalactic Delights

Both the Zkittles and the NYCD are beginning to push their heads above ground now. Not quite ready to call it day one, but by the morning I'm sure they'll both be looking skyward and we can call it.

My cowboy days are official behind me. On the recommendation of @Beerhunter CDN and @Froot n Fuel I've ordered the Apera PH20 so I can actually keep an eye on things for once. Trying to do this one properly!

Early days but I'm head over heels for the Telos already. Hardly gives off any heat at all. Gonna be a struggle in the winter after getting used to the radiator like quality of the HPS but a dream in the summer.

I got in a bit of panic about the weight of it (although I'm sure it's fine) so contacted BudBox directly and they're sending me some extra supports and only charging for shipping. Nice guys over there! Really goes to show the benefit of buying from local companies (even though I didn't actually buy the tent from them myself!)

Looking around at options for nutes and Emerald Harvest has been recommended by the local hydro store. Not really seen anyone using running them around here. Anyone got any experiences with them? How about Greenleaf?

Both seem fairly reasonably priced compared to AN and I'm a bit bored of using General Hydroponics now. Figure it's time to try something new.

Just don't say Mammoth P!!! I can't afford it after shelling out for the light and meter :coffee2:

:vibes:

DAY 1

They're off.

Hopefully this is the least interesting of all the updates.

let's goooo :woohoo1:

bet it feels good to have some action in the tent again? i start getting anxious if i don't think i have enough stuff growing let alone nothing at all!

nutes - i've been advised a dozen times to try Greenleaf stuff and i almost went as far as importing a batch from the states some months ago but the shipping fees were nuts and that's before getting stung for import taxes, and not really wanting grow-related products being subject to customs, so i held off. now it's available in the UK, it's affordable, it's proven to work well for autoflowers and there's dozens of users on AFN that can (and will :eyebrows:) be bombarded with questions once i receive my pouches of powder
Emerald Harvest caught my eye too, has a good reputation but having not seen it in action for autos and still learning myself, i ain't gonna be the test dummy :haha: or the pioneer
plus the simplicity appeals to me - been juggling AN bottles for 6 months and i have to keep telling myself not to buy more additives. Greenleaf has 4 products, Megacrop start to finish, Bud Explosion from flower, Sweet Candy if you want to add it in bloom, and their own CalMag which is probably interchangeable with others anyway.
if i thought the AN bottles were giving me the best possible flowers then i would continue to use their products regardless of politics or price or amount of products to mix etc - i'd put up with the common gripes...full AN lineup doesn't feel expensive versus paying for decent bud. but i don't think they give best possible flowers and after several harvests i still have complaints about my buds flavour and i get the feeling others had similar problems, switched and never looked back.

but curiosity can sometimes only be satisfied by trying :pass:

Let the games begin!

I can vouch for Greenleaf — I’ve complained on and off about feed schedules and such but I just made a rather large re-up order — no complaints and the girls are growing into monsters. The price is a no brainer and the simplicity of being able to dose with MC alone is nice. I’m back to running a top-off reservoir for plants in many stages and it makes managing things a bit easier for me.

That said, I honestly see no difference between GH.

The price sure is attractive £15 for 750g, can't say fairer than that. I'll probs just go full line up if I do go with it. I don't think mixing nute brands is wise if it's avoidable.

Price isn't tooooo much of a concern with the nutes. As you rightly say @Froot n Fuel it's still a whole lot cheaper than buying a lil' bit of bud.

I'll still be flushing with the FF but it seems like that'll be my only AN purchase for the future.

Nope can't find anyone using Emerald Harvest, which seems odd as it's a decent price, seems pretty legit and relatively widely available. But then not many people seem to be using GH on here either.

Washed the last of the trim from the Strawberry Nuggets and the 4AM the other day and now it's dried properly I find I got a decent yield of 7.5g of nice melty 73.

A little more 120 and a little less 25.

Probably not quite dabbable but it's soooo soft and gooey I'm gonna have to give it a go. Maybe with a screen it'll work OK.

Still amazed at what you can get outta what I used to throw away.

That’s awesome!

Are you sure that isn’t ground beef from last night’s tacos? :crying:

Well it's not really dabbable but holy heeeell is that some fudgey deliciousness. Super potent. Feels pretty different to the flower. Really energising. Super creative. Music is incredible. I'm SO STONED.

I actually have to ask what it is as it doesn’t look too familiar and I’m kind of new
