Just curious, about how much does your little hobby add to the monthly energy bill? About to add some cobs...

i had a browse through the GrowNorthern forum to see what we could expect but struggled to find any 0010's at all...have you seen one in action Arch?

A fair ol' bit but I've not been able to face going through the bills to see exactly how much. I'll do so once the Telos is set up and I feel comfortable knowing that's its all behind me.

Haha I feel your pain. Mine comes out of the account all by itself and I try not to look at it ...

I haven't seen a single grow with one

I suspect that's more to do with them being a UK company than anything else. Seen the odd grow here and there with the 8 but I figure that the 10 will come closer to emulating the 600w HPS.

At that price, the saving doesn't really seem worth risking lower yields. I don't want to find myself wanting more after shelling out for the 8 and I've not got enough room to really supplement it at a later stage if I wanted.

i switched off a fridge and a large freezer in the garage that me and the missus just didn't really use, and that was enough to keep my energy bills the same since growing

nope its mostly the 0008.i was one of the first to get a 0006 first impressions small box weights a ton.can only imagine what the 0010 feels like(double checks tent poles)and the +vat makes it a long term investment.

She's arrived and I must say, first impressions are good. Pretty weighty but very, very solid. Definitely made with longevity in mind and all the metal work is so well machined. Really nicely put together bit of kit. Full marks so far! Everybody I've spoken to about it says that to truly replace 600w HPS, the 10 is the one to go for so i'm feeling like it was the right move.

Gonna need to up my game now though. Can't go blaming my equipment!
