How long are those peak temperatures lasting for? Just a couple hours in the afternoon?
those Rh numbers look fine, to tell you the truth. 44 for a minimum isn’t bad at all….that’s about what my tent is at right now.

Yeah, the girls slowed down drinking at the end and I did not adjust my watering like I should. 40% seems really low for seedlings though, my root riots were drying out stupid fast while in the seedling trays.
You just have to adjust your growing style to what works best for your environment. Once you get things dialed in, they’ll thrive….and you’ll never have to buy weed again.
I’ve got a 10 day old seedling, and a plant in early veg…along with the monsters…..41% humidity and every one is as happy and healthy as can be….and no, I don’t use humidity domes at any point. Like I said, historically issues have come from too high humidity….

Well shoot! I've seen those on the shelf. I was hoping for some real secret top shelf scientific supply thingy. Glad to see it's just the best of the regular units. I've got an evaporative unit so it can't push more moisture into the air than it can hold but I am shopping for new bits for the new tent. Looks like I'll be getting a cool mist ultra. Thanks for the heads up!
There are canna specific ones that are some higher end units….but normally they’re made for bigger spaces than what most of us grow in. You can check a place like growers house and see what’s available….

If they didn't look so unhappy I wouldn't have bothered lol. I think its an issue of consistency maybe? Idk. We'll see how they react now that I've got the temp back down. I definitely wouldn't mind not having to run the fan outside of the tent considering its loud as crap, and having the inline run lower now means when I actually *need* to decrease humidity later I'll have some room to do so instead of being maxed out from the start.

It’s hard to put your finger on exactly why they were unhappy. Could be multiple or different factors. Generally, if you get your watering consistent, right levels of nutes, temp in range…..you can get away with rh that’s outside of what the introweb says it should be. If you look around grow journals long enough….you’ll find plenty of folks growing these plants far, far outside what is considered to be ideal. Hell, used to be a guy around here that grows outdoors in the far northern part of Alaska, on the tundra. A very short and challenging grow season for him, but he makes it work year after year……all fertilized with human shit, to boot!

Adjust your dark period to be during the hottest part of the day…..so just as your tent is heating up, the lights go out. And for a bonus….that solves the issue you would have had in a couple months when you would have struggled with nighttime temperatures while the lights were off.:d5:

Apparently the use of that practice on food crops in North Korea has caused a vast majority of the population to be riddled with parasites. Fun facts and whatnot.

This is all thoroughly composted and what not….Dude goes to great lengths to make a badass fully organic soil. Way more involved than just mixing a doody into your soil :haha: and I do believe a major culprit in the parasites in North Korea have a lot to do with the regular practice of eating bugs, and rodents.
