It’s hard to put your finger on exactly why they were unhappy. Could be multiple or different factors. Generally, if you get your watering consistent, right levels of nutes, temp in range…..you can get away with rh that’s outside of what the introweb says it should be. If you look around grow journals long enough….you’ll find plenty of folks growing these plants far, far outside what is considered to be ideal. Hell, used to be a guy around here that grows outdoors in the far northern part of Alaska, on the tundra. A very short and challenging grow season for him, but he makes it work year after year……all fertilized with human shit, to boot!
