Ugh. Been fighting with this stupid humidifier for ages. Thought it just needed to charge first. Had it plugged in for hours, nope. Giving me a "no water" angry red flash, even though it was full to the max fill line. Weird. Take the damn thing apart cause I thought maybe I could remove the sensor. Took the sensor off, no dice. Hmm. Then I remembered it said not to use distilled water. Hmm. I filled it up from the tap so that should be an issue. BUT we have really low PPM water. Hmmmm, wonder if the water isn't conductive enough to trigger the sensor. Put the stupid thing back together. Added salt to the water, no dice (and getting a low battery warning?) Plugged it in to my phone charger instead of the provided cable, its charging now. Added more salt, woo! It finally works lol. Putting it in the tent once its charged I guess since it didn't want to charge with the cable that came with it. Stupid but whatever I guess.

I’m surprised you need a humidifier in the first place to tell you the truth….

The babies were not enjoying the dips under 40% unfortunately, and temps have been too high. Got the humidifier figured out now at least, and redecorated the powder room aka cut the extra ducting off the inline fan and have it running into the tent and taped to the AC vent, with the thermostat set to 65 to get the teen cooled off quicker. With the ac ducting in and the inline fan turned way down, I'm sitting at 73% and 57% humidity in the tent with a wet towel hanging. If I could switch out the towel for the humidifier and get the humidity up just a smidgen more I'd be happy. I think the smaller pot sizes and the tiny plants is what has caused my major humidity dip. When I tried turning down the inline (it had been running full blast since day 1) the temps shot up over 90 and the humidity didn't really do much by way of increasing.

If I may give one piece of advice…..watch for continued mold issues. It’s been my understanding that regular humidifiers put out too large of droplets, that can lead to mold/pm issues in flowering cannabis. The type of humidifiers we need are wicked expensive. Just my two cents, of course. Lotsa folks use them and seem to do alright, just something to look out for…

This is just a tiny one, for if/when it needs boosting, which will most likely only be when they're tiny since once they get bigger the tent holds the RH better.
