I did it! My USB microscope arrived about 5 and I've been screwing around trying to get it to work. It is tricky getting everything to hold still enough for a non blurry pic.

I think it looks mostly clear with a few starting to turn milky. Which means at least another week and then recheck. I tried to aim at the very top colas that are the most developed.

Took all the buds off their stems today. Weighed them and into Grove bags.

Total count 171.5gm or 6⅛ oz. My goal for the El Chapo was 4.5 oz so I am quite happy.

After my first extreme defoliation attempt I found there are still lots of small buds BUT all are dense and sparkly. No larf. Chalk it up to sloppy training...

Suffice it to say I Am Sold on heavy defoliation, at least with photos.

I should have set aside a more impressive bud for this next shot but it was all in grove bags so I just grabbed one from the top.

El Chapo. Def going to grow it again someday.

I lived in a beach house right below an airforce base. The fighter jets break the sound barrier quickly after take off, and they scramble often.

Pictures on the wall were never straight.
