Not familiar with cx. I used to use the HP, but now it's just plain pro mix from Lowes I'm pretty sure it's peat moss. I have to add my own perlite, but way cheaper than buying HP. Just looked it's peat.

I grow with the red bag of promix from Walmart….. I feed plain water for the first seven days or so, then start nutes at 1/4 strength and increase from there. I feed nutrients every single feed until the end….

I feed every watering with promix….

I can't remember it's been like 2yrs, but I use it once every watering and my ppm was insane. I'm just trying to avoid that again.

That's why I don't use HP anymore. I use to order it at True Value, they Were the only ones that have it around. After COVID stop being able to order, said to check local store. Mine is to small to keep on hand, when you ordered they shipped to store from warehouse. Saw big ass bag of plain peat moss for $19.99 grabbed some perlite and it was half the cost. So now I get that. I reuse my living soil so don't need to buy often.
