We have a newer thrift store called "Savers" that has better quality stuff than Salvation Army, AmVets, or GoodWill. I get my Columbia and Cabela's clothes there. They have a huge dumpster in back that belongs to a scrap metal company, where they toss metal objects that have been on the shelf too long, often with the price tag still on it. I've gotten many treasures out of there. One day I took a car-load of refugee kids to browse the dumpster for cookware, bikes, etc. An employee on smoke break chased us out of there and threatened to call the police. We got a couple blocks away before we noticed that a 17-year-old girl was missing. When we all jumped out of the dumpster, she crouched inside instead. We had to go back for her.
