Sitting here waiting for the rest of #3s bday gifts and all the kids' school supplies to show up has me anxious for some reason. There's 2 chromebooks coming today so that may be part of it. #1 dropped his and broke it earlier this summer so that had to be replaced after less than a year cracked the f'n motherboard so no fixing it. Got smart this time and got the 2 year protection on the (only like $25 each so definitely worth it) and they won't be touching them outside of school hours from now on. Thankfully #3 is still in lower school this year and isn't required to have one or else I'd be extra upset lol. All she needed was 2 notebooks and a box of pencils

I made sure to get a model I could get an actual hard shell case for, not just those flip sleeves like what #1 had on his last year. Plus screen protectors and keyboard covers (have you ever seen what a preteen boy can do to a keyboard? Blegh gag me with a spoon). Between all that and the protection plans I'm hopeful these will at least make it through middle school with them

I run in straight HF......gets them into flower at about 4 weeks and I start in on nutrients....
edit: HF and MegaCrop 1 part is about all I use normally.......thinking of trying one of those bud candy things though.

i got the bud candy thing and i suggest saving the money i think its just for bored growers. megacrop 1 prt is enough me thinks and bud explosion but i am only 2 res changes into bud candy but i don't see how it adds $20 a bottle to the plants. I'll need to do a clone grow and half plants with bud candy half without it to see if it is worth it for me.

I just got what i could get without ordering everything to get started. Im gonna change stuff up a little next go around unless this works lmao

buying red or yellow bags of promix at walmart or home depot is a cheap way to sub out HF or coco. ive been running it in autopots and 5gallon bottom feeders no problem and @ $11-15 a bag 2cu sign me up for life lol (cheap grower here)

Idk what #1 gets on his hands tbh, I think he may eat while using it or something but it's gross. I've got the parental controls buttoned up real tight and also of the two boys he's definitely the more oblivious of them so we're definitely not in the "crusty socks" phase yet. Typing that just made me incredibly glad of the fact that hubby does the laundry cause idk if I could deal with all that
