Ok so the fold8 light grew decent plants but the dimmer only has settings for like 40/60/80/100% power and even on just 80% my tent would need intake fan running almost constant to keep it under 90 degrees! Not positive if the current lights are same as mine but mine the driver is built onto the light plus under some unnecessary metal tunnel so it makes way more heat inside tent then what a light with removable driver would make! My mars with driver on tent rarely has the intake fan come on and at times heater kicks on to keep tent at 80F so vpd stays where I need it! And at like 16” or so and 75% power I still had almost 700ppfd and 80% jumped it to damn near 900 at same height! So super easy to run low 80’s without intake fan and be over 1000ppfd at 12”! Not sure medic grow was near as efficient on its 80% setting and was a scorcher! Just my opinion! Why I swapped this mars light in during flower of last photo run cuz other was too hot so needed almost 70% rh to have vpd around 1.5! No thank you!

Description says no heat but looks like the same kinda build you're talking about. Haven't seen any reviews that mention heat but who knows? Also the only reviews other then you I've seen are from migro and Cocoforcannabis, they both say it's great, but they're also both paid ads I'm pretty sure You recommend the Mars lights? I have a couple that I've liked but they're both square and both too small I'm also looking at the Mars and photontek 465

The not knowing what is going on is what is getting to me. I'd have much preferred to stay with him but #3 is here and I can't take her to my gmas just in case it is covid, and I can't leave her here for God knows how long. Making her sit up in the er for ages also doesn't seem like an option. So I'm just like sitting here spinning out.

Not when I have to drive and I'm also super not into driving at night to start lol. I have awful night vision so driving at night is terrifying enough, and I don't really like driving high *ever* so yeah lol.

Throw some fog in there and you'd be up da creek.

I'm rolling with you @Fermented_Fruitz @Marshydro fc6500 on the way For anybody else looking I've been neurotically tracking the price of lights from the manufacturers and Amazon multiple times a week since probably memorial day ish. This light has fluctuated from $740-700 with shipping including memorial day, father's day, 4th of July and all of the sales. Currently $629 and only $29 more then the fc4800 right now factoring shipping since it's always changing on the Mars site. But Mars doesn't charge for tax and with the AFN discount it makes it $71 cheaper from Mars then from Amazon. Can't wait for these plants to finish!
