Never tried heating them up before. Makes sense Only use ball jars

The thermal shock will break the glass if the difference between what is going in and the glass is too large. Most of my failures have been in the pressure canner. It gets a lot hotter than the water bath @ 240°F. If you have any unseen fractures in your jar it will fail. Depending on what your canning, it is just a waste and a nuisance or it can make an epic disaster all the way up to blowing the safety vent. Been there done that.

@Mañ'O'Green @WildBill any tips for keeping jars that aren't totally full from floating around? I've had every problem you could have over the years trying to do oil infusions in a water bath. Cooking problems too with jars. Super pain in the ass cleaning broken jars that were full of cheesecake, or jars with eggs, or cleaning oil off the circulator Too many crack when I put them in, or roll over when I take a weight off I actually gave up on it and went to bags with stainless weights in them that worked really well, but I don't like the plastic at those kinds temps

Whatever it is you are trying to do can probably be done better and easier with a Magic Butter Machine. I bought one years ago. That said why do you float your jar? I am assuming you have oil and bud in a jar and you want to use heat to infuse the good stuff. Then you place that jar in a pot of water on a lid or rack to keep it off the bottom, then on a heat source. Just put less water and don't boil too hard. if you want to heat higher than 200°F then use the oven or direct heat. Did I mention the MBM does this?

Well things are likely to get pretty interesting at my house. I was trying to finish up the second run on that alcohol extraction I started yesterday. I got all the booze out of my mixture and was going to combine the two. As I was bending down, I got hit with a huge nerve pain and spaz in my right leg.
I broke one beaker. It did break into large pieces. And the other beaker while saving it, my finger got stuck in the oil.
Okay. What am I going to do with this finger tip covered in oil? Well, instead of just maybe smearing somewhere on the side of the beaker, I licked it!
Good news is there's no glass in the other beaker and a fair amount of the broken beaker kept its goodness. I'm probably going to have to throw away the curtains on my French doors. Yeah, some of it got on the curtains and their cream colored.
Well half my work is wasted. It's lucky that I have a nice stash of flower. I guess I'm just going to dig out another few ounces and try it again. If it was just for me, at this moment, I would just say to hell with it! I made a promise to give my old friend a sample to see if it would help her. I don't really have enough right now to make it worthwhile to take it to her.
I hope man upstairs wasn't listening! I said a bunch of nasty words!!
Like I said, it should be getting very interesting here in about an hour. I'm about 30 minutes in............. It's coming on strong!
I'm kicked back in my gaming chair, waiting for my buddy to get on. We're going to play our usual GTA rampage, raping and pillaging in the most creative manner that we can come up with.


Edit........ I did put the large pieces and the other beaker in the freezer to see if I can collect tomorrow, because I damn sure ain't going to collect it tonight!

I really am sorry that happened to you. As we get older more and more shit like that happens to us.

I count 9 in the orgy pot so far

Decided to dig through my red poisons buds and find 10 seeds which i did (seeds were tiny and black much different than my crossed seeds color and size) and i planted 5 in each 1 gallon fabric pot so I'll have mini orgy pots with 5 plants in each 1 gallon


2 big orgy pots with my Red Gorilla Poison (Red gorilla girl xl x Red poison) and 2 small orgy pots with red poison seeds in them. i'm thinking i'll keep the best 2-3 in each baby orgy pot and 10 in the big pots.

Busy day tomorrow, need to pick all of the peppers I can because the heat will be crushing this week. I am going to put the shade tent up in an effort to prevent sunburn but it will be so hot.
