It has been a long time since I tasted Kombucha and it did not look like that. I did not much care for it.

Edit: I just consulted with Ms. MOG She said this would be a world away from what I tried years ago.

You probably had the plain tea….this is one step further than that. Take that tea and bottle condition it with fruit for 5 days….it flavors it naturally and it develops some effervescence.
