I've never had budrot spread indoors or outdoors. Not uncommon for me to grow 4 plants in the same pot and only 1 will get rot outside. Only had rot once indoors and it didn't spread to the other plants. And I've never caught it early enough that it's white  I've used ozone with plants in the tent and it pretty much took the wax off the leaves and turned them into paper

Shit.

This doesn't look good.

I think we can basically sum this whole thing up with "I'm a bit of an idiot."

@PinkyNotTheBrain I'm also dealing with insulin shit. I was diagnosed with diabetes about 2 years ago.

I had my A1C down to 5.5 and was feeling good about things. But after my dad passed I started letting myself drink heavily again. Fasting blood sugar was 195 this morning. Ugh. I'm going to not drink for a few days and test myself again and see where I'm at.

I've developed a pretty shitty habit of a 6 pack of 16oz cans of strong beer every night and I really really need to stop.
Sorry to hear bud. I don't judge on the drinkin. Shits sure good at its job, keeping u goin. Til its not. I encourage you to lay off tho. Couple two tree sips a year, try only ceremonial... wedding, new years, toasts, alien abductions:peek:

I don't think there's any treatment for budrot since the liquid application can never really get deep into the middle of buds. Would need to be a systemic/injectable treatment and I don't know if that exists for rot :pass:

I think the question is, am I risking causing additional mold issues by spraying the buds with water with fungicidal bacteria?

eg, I'm spraying bud with water which can cause bud rot, but I'm spraying with water that contains bacteria to help prevent it. Is the treament worth the results?

I don't know. I'll find out, though.

And I agree, I would never smoke moldy bud. What I caught today was harvested and trimmed off the buds before they were hung to dry, and I will be checking daily to see if any more appears on them while they are drying out.
In the 1960's we smoked a lot of moldy Mexican brick weed, and it didn't kill us, but who knows if that's why some of us have RAD or COPD. We called it "cow pee grass" because it smelled like amonia. There were rumors that it was smuggled over the mexican border under the floorboards of cattle trucks. It was really just pressed into bricks while it still had enough moisture to cause mold to grow.

His was mold growing on the flowers not budrot or botrytis or whatever u wanna call it which starts from inside the flower and works its way outward!

Thanks
OooOo what we got cookin up? Party time???
Nah, taking my girls out to a moster truck rally and hopefully get the 2024 fishing season started. It would be nice to do some quiet trout fishing by myself. It's been a while since I've reconnected with nature.

I know some people in Maine that always grew several plants out back in the summer….been smoking only their own weed for forty plus years. They were always smoking moldy weed….not super moldy, but there was definitely mold present.

They never smoked tobacco..

She always had this cough…like a smokers cough. But it got worse over time, and she ignored it.

Finally her doctor got curious and sent her for a bunch of tests…. Stage four lung cancer. Nothing they can really do.

They said it’s not definitive, but there’s a possibility that she got aspergillosis from the moldy weed….which in time turned into the cancer. They gave her nine months, and that was three months ago.
