Imo the biggest thing to focus on that is quite often overlooked by new growers is VPD. Having a correct environment is probably the most important part of growing imo considering environment and VPD absolutely drive uptake of water/nutrients/etc and can have a *huge* effect on your plants growth. You have to remember that everything our plants do is driven by pressures of various types. Environment and watering really should get the most attention from new growers before going crazy with nutrients and all of that, but for some reason it seems that nutrients are often focused on the most when people first start out.Someone told me “you can’t recognize an abnormal condition if u don’t know what a normal condition is”. Do a search on AFN about ur soil, genetics, watering, light, etc and develop YOUR grow style. This site will TEACH you to “fish”, not give you a ”fish”. Think about this for a second, you want to feed a 1” plant in pre-charged soil. You want to add Recharge (not saying it’s bad, idk) to a charged soil (Re being the operative term). Pay attention to your environment, learn what u are planting in, and learn HOW to water. TRUST ME, you will be better off in the long run. I’ve walked a mile in ur shoes. my First grow was like yours. I didn’t put in the time to learn PRIOR to grow. I put time in, but it was looking at plant pics that others grew, not understanding the fundamental principles. These are amazing plants and will grow if u LET them. I just completed my 3rd grow, so I’m no expert, but last 2 grows produced quality bud using water ONLY. I just needed to get out of the way. That being said, there are MANY MANY ways to grow, so I wish you well.
this thread is all over the place and it is really hard to follow.
As far as the thread being difficult to follow, I get where you're coming from but can also appreciate the fact that being new to growing can bring up tons of questions (especially considering the information overload involved and the sheer number of conflicting opinions on things, especially on other sites), and I have a feeling that OP may not be a native English speaker (no offense if I'm wrong, just how I read it is all).
To OP, don't be afraid to ask questions, learning from others (especially the mistakes of others) is hugely valuable but also remember that every grow environment, strain, and even plant can vary a ton and what works great for one person may not work for you. That's part of learning and growing as a grower, you could have all the theoretical knowledge of growing in the world but none of it means a thing until you try it for yourself. As you grow you will learn what works for you through trial and error, but don't be disheartened by mistakes or failures as they tend to be the most valuable learning experiences of all. I'll leave you with some wise words from my 7yo, "every ballerina falls down, even the best ones there are, but a real ballerina always gets back up and tries again." Growing is just the same. It's OK to fall, just always remember to get back up when you do, brush the dirt off, and try again.
