Grow Mediums First time grower, first post. In need of some help.

Ok so things look about the same. The widow is showings some new growth, but not much. Hopefully she is recovering from last week. The sweet cheese has some claw action happening along with some tip yellowing. Maybe nute burn? The sweet cheese is eating very well tho. I'm just concerned with all the tip curling going on. I moved the light up thinking maybe it's the heat. The light is about 19 inches from the tops. I'm also concerned bout the widows crispy weird colored leaves and some minor drooping as well. Can anyone help diagnose the problem here? When I checked the widows ph, it was at 7.0. I set it to 5.6 last night. How many times a day should i adjust the ph? The sweet cheese was at about 6.4 ph. Not sure what the problem is. Any advise helps. Here's some pics taken today.

Ok it's been about a week. The sweet cheese has definitely been doing some growing. She drank at least a gallon this week. I haven't had to add any water to the res until tonight. She has also been eating very well. The only thing that concerns me is the curling on the tips and sides. She also grew at least 4 inches since last week. Her roots are looking very good and healthy. My widow on the other hand is still very slow. She has grown a few inches too but hasn't eatin or drank as much as the other. Buds are forming but it's very slow. Any advice on the next rez change? It needs to be done here in a couple days. Please let me know what you think. I'll put up some pics.

Hey man, apologies if anything I'm about to write is irrelevant, you may already know this info but thought I'd try and help you out since there are not many responses and I know how that feels!
Are you checking your EC before and after she has drank? This is the easiest way to hear what the plant needs, for example:
I set my res at 1.0 EC, 24-48 hours later after the plant has drank a few litres I will check the EC again. If the EC has dropped then she is asking for more food as she is drinking the nutes faster than the water. If the EC has risen, then she is asking for less food and is drinking water faster than the nutes. This will help you to figure out if you are under feeding or over feeding. I had similar blemishes on my blue automazar in my most recent grow and it was down to underfeeding. I then had similar marks on one of my dragons, due to over feed. Finding the balance is key, and don't let crispy or curly leaves get you down! It's easy to get disheartened if you feel they are not happy but remember all those leaves are gonna be chopped and falling off in a few weeks anyway!
I'm around if you have any questions etc etc I'll try to help out as much as possible :peace:

hey bud ...happy to advise on the next res but need to know what was in the last one ... (ml per liter of each nute ect) . plus ppm & ph & a list of any other nutes you have :Sharing One:....looks like that clawing girl is a bit overfed & Pals great advice should help you work that out if you know what the ppm was when you made the res & what it is now ?

Thanks for the responses. The sweet cheese with the clawing was set to a ppm of 600. I used the g.h. line with the transition week nutes. Not sure exactly what it was at the moment. I used the drain to waste formula at about half strength. I have the performance pack of g.h. so I used all the suggested nutes plus cali magic. I hope I didn't stunt her again lol. I'm not gonna have anything to smoke in a few weeks lol.

ok mate ,just looked back & they have defo grown in the last week but the 600PPM may have been a bit much ...its hard to tell from hear lol ,so you need to monitor it through the week to see if it goes up or down ?. then you will know if its to strong or weak ect ...

into 15 liters ...

cal magic - 15ml
rapidstart - 1/8 strength (half of what was added last week )
hygrozym - half to full bottle recommendation
GH line - BLOOM RATIO - up to 550 PPM

PH-5.8

... above i recommended to up the calmagic by 5ml from the week before & drop the PPM to 550 from the 600 week before ,also half the rapidstart again ... But most important is the switch to BLOOM ratio ,did not realize how many preflowers there where & there deffo ready ...

a top & side pic of both plants would be good mate ,,, posted so we can tell what plant is in the pic ! .. its hard to work out whos who in the tent & I lost count of how many plants you have going ! (two right ?)

stoners hey :Sharing One:

Ok rez change done. This is the sweet cheese by sweet seeds. Ppm set to 460. I made it a little weaker than suggested. Ph set to 5.8. I used 15 ml cali magic, hygrozyme as suggested, 1/8th strength rapid start sm 90 as suggested on bottle, and great white as suggested on bottle. The used floralicious plus, liquid Kool bloom and the 3 part base. Here are the pics.

This is the white widow by dinafem. It has the exact same nutrient list as the sweet cheese. Here are the pics.

The pics are great & they seem to be growing a lot better then when you started bro ...but you have gone back to using all 3 zyms & mycos again ? do you have root issues Jp ?

if this is the 1st week of bloom then all she needs is base bloom feed while she get used to the transition ...then next week you would introduce the extra supplements (in very small doses to start) & work you way up from there .

I think your throwing to much of the wrong stuff in there bud :Sharing One:

It's been quite some time since I've posted. I have been checking daily here to see if anyone has commented but no one had lol. So here goes... The sweet cheese looks awesome! The white widow seems to be a little behind. Maybe it's just the particular strains. Here is a pic of the sweet cheese.
