A few questions from a first time grower(outdoor)

Just a little question: Do you start giving your photos 20/4 (or whatever cycle you use) directly after you put the germinated seed into the soil or after it shows a sproud in the soil? just wondering

i like to germinate my seeds next to my tent but once the little thing pops up it gets 18h light a day until flower

Thanks for your help bro :) Today is the day my first photo germinated and I'll prepare a pot with soil soon and getting stuff ready.
awesome, you can have a lot of fun with long veg times an a severe lack of ethics

btw, do you have an excel sheet or log yet where you keep track of your metrics and stuff? might help to clarify what kind of data you'd want to track in an app or how user extensible you would build such a thing

I'm a Software-Developer and I'm right now developing a program which contains all this features. Have a look:

There you can see just a global introduction to the project, but I've also a project board, where I track all the features and plans for these software.

I'm not sure if you can see it:
Canna Grow Companion Project Board
If you can't see it, then tell me and I'll change the settings to public viewing.
I'll create a separate post for this project, as I'll need contribution in form of research based data and additional ideas and feature requests.
Need some time to fill the project board with my ideas before I present it here and ask for contribution(in form of information, research data or even with some special needs).

Oh and yes, meanwhile I'm also using an excel sheet to track my plants

what's your tech stack gonna be?

.NET 8, C#, .NET MAUI for cross-platform UI and blazor webassembly for the web application. Gonna make an gRPC service architecture with each service undependetly to each other. Some features will use some other tech's but they are planned for the future.
ah cool, never heard auf maui, looking forward to some progress updates

Sure, as soon as I get a first version which is worth to work with, I'll make a new post for this application to present it to more people.
Right now I'm investing a lot of time in it, as I need something like that for myself (I just hate excel sheets, a real application should make life easier). Well we will see :)
