I am new to this forum and also relatively new to growing, having dabbled in a few botched cupboard grows in my teens and a failed outdoor grow.
I am looking forward to getting to know you guys, and all the knowledge and skills you can share will be much appreciated.
I've been wanting, waiting and getting to stoned too go through with my desire to get serious about growing my own supply for years.
After having to purchase a few CBD rich strains for a mate who has been growing to make oil tinctures after suffering from illness. I was gifted a few free seeds from the vendor, and it gave me the kick up the ass I've been waiting for all these years.
I then did a shit ton of research and bought all the equipment needed for my first serious grow.
Equipment
Lights: Viporspectra LED 450watt
Tent: BudBox PRO 1m x 1m x 2 m
Pots: OxyPot 19ltr x 2
Pots 2: Rhizopot 25ltr
Medium: Canna Coco Clay Pebbels
Medium 2: Tropic Bat Mix
Exhaust: Acoustic Rhino Pro Filter kit 5"
Air Movement: RAM 300mm Eco Fan
Air Controller: Control Freak Single Fan Controller 5A
Nutrients: Shogun Fertalisers, Vitalink Plant Start
Germination
Vitaink Plant Start 3.5ml in 1ltr of luke warm tap water.
ROOT!T Natural Rooting Sponges
Propagation Tank
Day 1:
I soaked the sponges in the water for 20mins, and gave them a squeeze to make sure they where fully saturated.
Transferred the soaked sponges into the proportion tray. I made sure to squeeze out any excess water before doing so. Then placed each seed into the pre made hole, and covered with a bit of sponge I ripped off the corner.
I put them into the propagation unit on my window sill, above a radiator.
Day 3:
Mazar and Cinderella Jack have both spouted. Interestingly these are the two sponges closest to the radiator, and therefore getting the most heat (noted for future grows).
One of the two Critical Orange Punch' s are showing early signs of the seed popping. Next time I will try soaking the seeds in water for 24hrs before placing in the rootibg sponges.
Day 4:
The Critical Orange Punch seed that was showing signs of popping, has popped with serious power!
I left them on the window sill, until today when I decided the light was not going to be strong enough. As it is the end of December in England. Regrettably I didn't buy the light for my propagation box. So I am having to put them under my grow light (in veg mode) for 24hrs and will check on the progress tomorrow. Hoping and praying the light is not too intense for the little seedlings.
