I wasted a month failing to get 10 LR2 seeds to sprout. I did learn a couple things that made my current grow get off to a better start. I'm going to have to read up on what's in my tap water. Can't wait to see the second attempt!
New seeds have begun to sprout. Will plant those tomorrow.
Here are the two old Onyx. They are growing differently. One is larger leaved and more spaced out. The other has small leaves that are tightly bunched together. The larger leaved I believe is pre-flowering. I can see pistils. I am hoping the two things on the right top are leaves growing not a hermie. The smaller Onyx has two pistils I found on the stalk.
Planted the two germinated seeds. I should have planted yesterday. One is great. I am not sure about the other. It was slower to sprout and only showed a tiny tip of root. Then today the tip mushed away. Planted it with little hope in it sprouting. Became a bit frustrated at that point. I am not new to gardening as I have extensive flower gardens. However, it is different with indoor MJ. Then I smoked some delicious Blue Dream. Frustration gone I have one more Onyx seed I can sprout when that one fails. What an expensive learning curve!
Had to move the two original Onyx plants to a window until I can afford their lighting. They have a slight smell to them.
How do you germinate Flwr? I use a paper towel method and have great success. Typically I don't put them in the dirt until the get a decent tail going. But I don't know how you germ... Sorry to hear of your frustration. Things always have a way of working themselves out just keep at it. You will find your rhythm soon!
I do the paper towel method too. Right behind the ps3. Maybe they were too hot or wet. Has to be one of the two as it was starting out a viable seed. The other one had a decent tail, and I planted it. Hopefully, I should see a sprout in a day or two.
