First coco grow with lotus nutrients and GH Flora Series

Day 35 update: Today my girl is 5 weeks old. She is a monster already. She is over 2 feet tall at such a young age. Absolutely loving growing in coco. I am using 1.8ml of micro, 1.9ml of grow, 1ml of bloom, 2ml of diamond nectar, 2ml of calmag, and .7ml of silica. I am watering twice a day with about 30 percent runoff each time. My ppm is around 430 going in and around 250 coming out. My ph in is 5.8 and my ph out is 6.2. Temperature at lights out is 68 and lights on at 73. The humidity is steady at 60 percent. I did some research about why my ppm is so low with runoff. From what I read the plant is needing more nutrients than what I am giving it. I am going to start bumping up the ppm to 500. Even with the low ppm, the plant seems to be doing great. I will more than likely be using coco from hear on out. Coco grows were always intimidating for some reason. Now that I am doing it, it’s the easiest way to grow in my opinion. More demanding but that’s what I want. Thanks for looking. All feedback is welcome. Am I correct to bump up my ppm because my runoff is way lower than what’s actually going in? I hope that made sense…..Enjoy your weekend.

Yup I'd bump her up 430 is lower then most use at that age I'd take her up to 500ppm then 600ppm. I find the most plants are happy around there some want more some want less. You don't need to fertigate to 30% runoff every time just for the day. I fertigate multiple times a day and just keep runoff for the day at ~20%

Thanks for the information. You have been very helpful throughout

Week 6 update: Today is day 42 since it broke ground. The plant is taking up my entire 3x3 tent. My light in the tent is raised to its maximum height and the plant is still stretching some. I started to increase the PK in my feedings. I am using 2ml of calmag, 2.5ml of micro, 1ml of grow, 2.75ml of bloom, 2.5 ml of diamond nectar, and , 1ml of silica. This puts my ppm at 490. The plant is handling the nutrient mixture well. I increased my light power and I started to get white and yellow tips on my leaves. I turned the power down some so I don’t overdue it. That’s the only thing I can think of as to why my tips are turning colors. The bottom half the plant is having no issues. My temp at lights out is 66 and lights on 72. The humidity is steady at 55. The buds are starting to show and grow. I am still watering to runoff twice a day. Thanks for looking. All feedback welcome. Enjoy your weekend. Will report back next week.

Are you measuring DLI? Your probably right but necessarily the only reason

More light make the plant grow faster so it pulls in more water and nutrients then out of balance shows up faster. Not because of the light your nutrients are out of balance.

My PPFD is 601 and my dli for 18/6 is 37
This is the only part i need to study on . Trying to get the VPD in check and the lighting is a pain in the butt

Ok that’s pretty good carry on:headbang: yeah it can be intimidating but really not all that complicated once you get the hang of it
