Well, pretty frustrated at this point.
It has been two days since I planted the new Onyx seeds. One I wasn't really expecting much from as it had turned to mush in the paper towel. I gently scraped away the top dirt. One seed (mush seed) was completely empty. The other seed that was doing great in the paper towel had a teeny, tiny white worm eating the taproot. WTF?!?! Got rid of the worm. I have seen no signs of gnats or bugs in the soil or its bag. I have been googling it somewhat. Doesn't resemble the photos of fungus gnat larvae. This worm had no black on it, and was tiny. Maybe Pot Worms? I am using Roots Organic soil.
Glad I wasted so much money on Onyx seeds. I have one left at this point. Maybe I should have done growing trials with bagseed....
