New Grower First grow kindsoil, autocobs, white widow

Day 44- white widow is scootin along. Her buds are growing and she is getting greasy and sticky!
Not much else to report, she did receive 2 liters of h2o this morning, lights are still 11 inches from the canopy, temps and rh spot on.
Setting aside her birth defect, early growth snafu, she has been a well behaved girl. Shes taken my heavy handed noob approach in stride!

So it looks like my journal in the cobshop section of the forum got moved due to some reason or another. Im gonna just add that grow to this journal and ill try and keep the deets straight.
Ill post up todays pic for the gorilla blue hrre in a bit, going forward both plants will be updated in this thread.

They move stuff all the time from what I can tell they moved mine to pests and diseases lol for the yellow spots but journals still there n same spot...
But your baby looks great really great I'm praying mine shoots in the next week and gets taller she's short bushy now but would like to see another 20 inches and then a 30 inch canopy wide lol

Gorilla blue day 33- heres my other baby from the cobshop journal. Shes a gorilla blue auto from advanced seeds.
She looks much more traditional than white widow as she has grown in like a champ. Shes 33 days above ground today. She is in a 2 gallon fabric pot with coco loco.
I have been feeding her nutes, unlike white widow, and i am using 2 items. Megacrop v1 as the main feed, every watering, and then roots organic elemental for calmag. I plan on using it once a week and will adjust as needed.
Gorilla blue is 15 inches from her own 65 watt cob and shes loving it! She appears to be in her preflower stretch, pistils are stacking up on all the bud sites.
Ill figure out a good flow for my updates, maybe alternate plant updates daily or something.

Kinda fooled around with making my own supersoil mix yesterday. Heavily geared towards a "water only" feed routine. I did 2 different sections of soil, a bottom and a top layer.
I used miracle grow performance organic soil as the base, and added vermiculite and perlite for drainage.
Topsoil was amended with roots organic grow and foundation, elemental, and megacrop v1.
Bottomsoil was amended with roots organic bloom, and elemental.
I mixed in a couple teaspoons of di-earth for pest control and other benefits.
I soaked the 2x 5 gallon pots using water + bennies to boost the good microbe life in the soil. I plan on using molasses as the main additive as i grow out 2 tomatoes to see how this mix holds up.
The plan is to see how far i can get in the tomato grow using just water + molasses. Hopefully i am able to learn a bunch and then turn around and learn some more!
I am loving my water-only white widow grow, like i love it a lot! It doesnt hurt my feelings to not have to keep track of what nutes to feed and when to feed em!
I keep coming across a product called natures living soil, and i gotta say, im intrigued. 1 product i can add to my soil to set up an organic no feed grow, yes please!!!

All righty afn, im elevated af, im gonna ramble for a sec.
The pic is gorilla blue, from today, and its a side shot. Shes all gangly and stretchy/bushy right now so its a bit hard to see but i am in love with her top branches. Ive got them trained out and it sorta has a manifold look going.
So i think im gonna try to do an actual manifold next round. Loose plan of attack will be top between the 3rd and 4th nodes. Let it recover for a day, then trim off everything under the 3 node.
I know thats traditionally a photoperiod type of hst but ive seen it done here in afn. Not gonna lie, the symmetry of a well done manifold job is pleasing to the obsessive compulsive in me lol.
Anywho, heres gorilla blue from the side, in all her gangly glory!

So im looking at white widow and theres something different about her this morning. Then it dawns on me, her canopy, the whole canopy, has stretched up about an inch from yesterday. Her 65w cob is 11 inches away and she is still stretching towards it. Is that normal?
Anywho, on to the next one......ive been researching a hydro-type grow. But i dont wanna spend a lot of money on it.
Im kinda toying with the idea of grabbing a lil blu mat system, see if i cant get it set up to semi-automate my watering. Id still hand feed any time the babies needed nutes but the blu mat would handle the bulk of the watering. Ill see if i cant find some journals or grow accounts that incorporated something like that.
Back to widow, shes lookin good(all things taken into account) and her lil budlets are trying to fill up and out! And the frost, this girl is cranking out the goodness!

Dam she really is frosty!

She is super greasy to touch, not real sticky yet but you can totally feel the oils. And every now and then she lets off a bit of aroma, hmmmmm
Haha bro I had to install my carbon filter already because it was stinking up my garage with just these three small ones! Idk why they are smelling so strong before they are really even flowering! I can't wait for the frost, if my time line is close to yours I'll see it in a few days! :smoking: I am really glad you stumbled on my grow and I can look and see what to expect from my widows just by looking at your grow! :d5:
