Dutch Passion DutchPassion's AutoBlueberry feat. GN Ms0006 by MuaMoTo

good luck Mua, and there is always a beer for you on the Dutch Passion stand in Prague bro!

Day 17...it's buggy time

the berries are still recovering from the nitrogen overdose and on top of that now i have to fight with an infestation of a tiny creatures called Symphilids...
i've noticed them yesterday when i watered, then they appeared for short time and ran like crazy...
i use biobizz light mix and always have, with no creatures inside...for the first time i use root-riot cubes... a month ago i used 2 root riots (from the same pack with the ones i use in this grow) in an unsuccesful cloning attempt...back then i saw one of these STD named bugs crawling on one of the root-riot cubes but did not think it could be from them cuz they were vacum sealed...and still makes me think though...

tomorrow i'm getting some neem, hope it will work and hope it's not too late for the girls...oh they are girls, both have showed me :)

here they are, stretch slowly as the first nodes are getting close to be tied up

Day 20

So I flushed the soil with neem solution two days ago, as of now no root damage is visible on the leafs. Except the eagle claw form they have, which i think is Nitrogen overfeed but also might be a bug related...

the girls are growing...slowly for now...

my canin "technique" is making them two awkwardly looking bushes...

Day 26

Quick update at day 26...they grew a bit...i treated them twice with neem and seems there are no bugs anymore...
i also got some Advanced Nutrients that i will feed the girls with from now on...

some curly girls...

Day 30

Here's the update on the girls...
They are getting bigger and i'm hoping for them to stretch a bit...
I broke unrepairable one of the first branches on the smaller berrie...need to be more careful....
Yesterday i gave them epsom for the first time but it's obvious that it's already late. Still...i hope to stop the spreading of the cal/mag deficiency...

Definitely way smaller than what Hazy's 30 day canin looks like...
and creepy :twist:

Whats the PH of your feed and run off bro, they don't look happy at all I'm afraid.

i am affraid also...

so, because i was using only biobizz products in all my previous grows i did not bother to measure the pH...and except in the first one-two weeks of a plants life, when almost everyone has a too high pH lock out, i didn't had any problems of the sort...
but now that you asked TaNg, and since i am using AN nutes i've got me a pH meter today and did some measures...
my tap water is 7.5
tap water with nutes is 6.8
Brita filtered water is 6.5
filtered water with nutes (the one i use) is 6.1
and because i used neem twice i mesured this also - filtered water and neem is 6.3
filtered water, nutes and epsom is 6.0

and the runoff i got from using filtered water and nutes is 5.9

maybe i am on the down side of the soil pH perfect...maybe i need to stop using filter and lower a bit the amount of nutrients i use...

here are some pics with better light from today...the new growth looks ok i guess...

Day 35

Today i flushed them with Florakleen and from next watering they start their flowering diet.
They are small...tiny...i think putting neem in to their roots at such fragile age stunned them a lot...
But the green is getting deeper now and they start to smell realy good...
