I use the exact same soil as you and just got CalMag, but have not used lime yet. I just bought some lime and epsom salt on clearance at wally world for $2 a bag each. I wondered how do you use the lime and how well does it maintain ph etc? Gonna be starting 4 girls soon and wanted to incorporate this into the soil, especially if it will help. I've always had issues with ph throughout any grow.. I don't mean to hijack the thread or get off topic so my apologies, but I couldn't help but notice and ask..thanksHello AFN
It's been 5-6 weeks since I chopped my last plant. I had planned a short break but not this long. Been holding off so I could start with a new light but have not been able to manage it yet. I can't wait any longer, have to satisfy my need to grow.
Going to use 3gal airpots again. Going with 2 plants again this time. I decided to go with something a bit lager, so I chose a DinaFem White Widow XXL. Also going to give White LSD another try. After 3 failed germination attempts on my first grow, I figured I should be able to manage it now.
DinaFem White Widow XXL and White LSD (breeder unknown) - henceforth known as WWXXL and WLSD respectively.

Thanks bro! I've used technaflora (feed 1-2 times a week starting at day 7, with run off, and flush between veg and flower until 7ish+ days before harvest as well..)since the beginning but have thought of taking the leap to AN. Its all been trial error and experimentation in an effort for best results so any input is definitely appreciated. As for the dolomite lime: I'll try a few tblsps when i blend here in a couple of days. I'll see where my soil run off ph is, and try to go from there..No worries, @Brew712 that's why we are all here, to learn. My blended soil had a pH of 6.2-6.3 when I mixed it 18 months ago. I used dolomite lime to bring the pH up so it is now 6.7-6.8. I use AN pH perfect nutes so my feed pH is 5.8. When I feed the soil pH drops to about 6.3 and gradually rises as the soil dries. Most of the time the soil is in that 6.4-6.6 sweet spot. I feed every day (no run off) starting at day 7 until 7-10 days before chop. The girls will get a big flush when I switch from veg to bloom nutes.
There are a few different kinds of lime. Some react quicker than others. Also other methods to raise the soil pH. I guess what and how much you use depends on your blend's current pH. Feel free to jump in or hit me up with a pm anytime bro
