Deficiency

Oh okay thank you very much.
But the plant your pointing out is the one that's performing pretty well(Wham Boom).

When looking at the worst Leafs on the Imperium X i definitely see the same pattern as in the Deficiency guide under Calcium(link)
It also says that it can look like a P deficiency or often happen at once.

Now im completely confused.
From what i understand it could be
  1. Ca deficiency
  2. Ca toxicity
  3. Ca locking out P
  4. P deficiency
Might give them a bit of the Bloom part since it has more P in it in. And then i have a 50/50 chance on the Ca as it seems

You’re not wrong nutrients can be confusing often times deficiencies and toxicity look the same. Yeah I know that was the good plant but I was using that cause it had the better color seeing if I could see the early signs better in that plant.

Is this the feed your using? This chart says(I think) 1.3 grams per liter and no calmag I get using calmag to buffer your RO but maybe it’s too much grow part both have a lot of N and Ca

Agree cut that calmag way back. Any insects on that plant? I see a bunch of white spots on the bad plant. It also may not like the foliar... Are you spraying in the dark?

Yes this is my chart. The Calmag isn't listet on this list.
The Bottle says to use about 1-1,5ml/L for deficiencies and 2ml/L if you use RO water which i do. I thought 2g/L are for photos so i cut it back a bit. I startet with 1ml/L and raised it up to 1,5

I checked these white spots and it seems to be some build up from the foliar, probably silica. I don't spray in the Dark

You're using powdered silica? You want to foliar during lights out since the water droplets can reflect light and burn leaves. But usually that damage will be at the tops. Add calmag to your RO until it's 0.3EC and add your ferts from there. It's probably much less then you've been using but it's all you need. You're nutes should have all the calcium you need so you're really just looking to buffer the RO. You also want to mix your calmag in 1st, unless you're also using silica in your rez, then it's silica 1st and calmag 2nd

Yes its powdered. Also from T.A.
I might give it a try to spray at night but i don't think that's a big issue with my current light

Ok i gonna check how much Calmag i need for 0.3EC
Thank you very much

Oh ok think I'm on the same page now might be just little bit too much still I think just cut the calmag some and see how she goes. Make sure your adding the silica first in the mixing order otherwise it's locks up the Ca

I'll give it a try. Thanks

By the way i only spray the silica
You can put the silica in the feed instead of spraying it. You can also overdo things by foliar feeding too much/too often. It'll throw off the balance of your root feeding since the leaves will take in certain things much faster

I did that in the beginning. But it would mess with my res to much. I had to use a shit load of ph down so i thought i only spray it.
Also i notized the silica not dissolving properly. At least it seemed so.
