Gotta confess, I'm already asking myself how much longer I have to wait to steal my first bud off my RA! :smoke:

Well I would hait to not be NORML (haha) Noods. Yeah well I might just have to try one. Have always been concerned how my tolearnce would handle the autos. Kind of been spoiled on CA photo type genetics these past few years. Muddy says he gets right as rain of Autos. Got my new seeds from Alibongo yesterday (5) RRF and (3) Kush Von Stitch. They shorted me a 3 pack of KVS but I sent an email and they responded with "my bad" essentialy. Told em feel free to throw insome seeds as compensation. They said they would hook me up so no complaints. Maybe my RRF ate the other three as they are fat little suckers.

Yep, just snip it off near the stem.

So I snipped my firts little tester bud. For some reason I read right overthe part where you said let it dry for 3 days. Must be the Tahoe getting the better of me haha. So I had to use the scissors because it was so damp. On the positive side it did have a bit of fruitty taste to it. Not sure if my smiley faced stemmed from happiness of my first grow or the auto itself. When you snipped it did you hang it or place directly into a jar for 3 days. 9 Weeks today so I am hoping to harvest my first plant this time next week. Or do you think I should let it go longer. Starting to get rust spots in some of my levaes now that I hav ecut back to just water. Is this normal? Should all the fan leaves die off first or just a portion?

theres tons of ways to fast dry those sneaky wee tasters.

oven, set at 60 and chuck in for 40 mins then turn off and allow to sit n cool. if a fan oven then put it inside something.
on top of yer light reflector, carefull it doesnt fall off.
in a jar with those silicon bags or rice in muslin bags.
on top of your TV if ye have an old CRT one.
in my case on top of my speaker power supply for my PC speakers 5:1, has a tiny wee bit of airmovement from convection from the heat generated inside it but fuck does it stink out the whole house and dries to an almost perfect smoke in a day.

As Riz pointed out, there are many ways to quick dry a bud. I'm usually not in that much of a hurry, so let them dry for a few days first. But I've been known to throw it right in the pipe and dry it out with my lighter!

Yes, what you are seeing is normal. I prefer to wait till the leaves have completely died on their own. When they are totally dead they will come off with little effort.

Yeah not sure if they are dead but more rusting and looking unsightly. A good portion of mne are still Green so I fgured maybe the plants need to go longer. Picked up an el cheapo 10X jewelers loupe from a jewelery supply. Unfortunately I cann see the trichs but not like a 30X which is probably needed to make out like I would prefer. Should I be waiting for amber? Mine appear to have 40/60 clear to cloudy.

On the drying end for testedrs when you waited 3 days how did you keep it in the meantime? I guess I could snip and place one on top of my hood. Maybe let it sit for a day?

My plants look pretty scuzzy now that I have stopped the nutes and gone to just water. Have never gotten this far before. My gorw used to be so pretty and now it looks like I have dying plants with nice Bud Clusters. Will take some pics and upload after work. Jut bought some Mason Jars in aticipation of Harvesting. Think I am going to try hanging the plants indvidually instead of in seperate pieces. Starting to get amped up in nticipation of this weekend. I trim before hanging correct?
