They are defintely starting to yellow and die. The Bud structure on each plant is slightly different. Although they were all started at the same time one plant looks more mature than the others. Then I have another that seems to have much smaller bud structure than the others. On antother note the Buds have started to fatten a bit. Not sure I am going to get monster Colas like some of the Photos of the month. Have been trying to let the fanleaves stay on until they completely die off. Just increased the Bud Candy to full strength (c: Not familiar with the Atami product. Is that like a Bud Blaster or something?

Yes, sounds like you're about ready to start flushing. Plants will vary, even within a given strain, on when they mature. Makes it hard to come up with hard and fast recommendations on when to harvest.

Yes, lots of similar products out there to the PK13.14. Anything with little or no N and lots of P and K are meant to boost bud growth. A lot of autos, especially grown under LEDs like I grow mine, tend to exhibit P deficiencies, especially later in bloom.

Since I am a couchlock fan should I not let them go longer than 8 weeks (quickly approaching). The plan was to let them go 10 weeks at least. You mentioned something about the buds picking up the most weight in those last few weeks. The Afghan Kush has a distinct yellow hue to the flowers. Is that somethign that will change in time? My stunted plant came around and seems to be yielding some of the larger buds even with less sites. The plant that I said was mature of the bunch has some chodes that look very similar to the WOS promo photo. The other plants bud structure is a bit n the stringy side. Flushing is providing the plant with only PH'd water if I understand correctly. How much and how oftern?

Cosz

Some plants will go less. If the fan leaves are all turning yellow and dieing off, then it's finishing up. At first they will show that yellowish tinge, then it will progress till they turn fully yellow, then brown. Then they will start to dry out till they eventually die completely. That process usually takes about 3 weeks. So if you start flushing about a week after it starts, you've got your 2 week flush. Stay with your same schedule and only give them pHed water when they need it. I give them just a little more than I usually do, until I get a nice run off.

You're noticing the differences between the various strains you are growing, that's good. I'm not surprised the Afghan Kush is finishing first as it's an indica. The stringier one probably has more sativa in it and will probably finish later.

Actually all of mine are the same strain (AKR). I thought it was supposed to be an Indica too, but the Leaves seem kind of on the skinny side which makes me think its Sativa. Maybe thats the Lowryder in them. When I said stringier I meant the bud structure was not extremely tight like the mature plant. I will switch to Strictly water come this Sunday.

Yes, I meant different phenos, not strains. The looser buds are likely the more sativa influenced.

If some plants don't have much yellow you might give them one more feeding. Flush the ones that are further along.

Couple of Progression shots. Happy New Years!

Same to you Noods. Just oredered more seed for my next grow. Decided to go with the Kush von Stitch and Russian Rocket Fuel from Alibongo. Jackal has me hooked on AN prodcuts so I picked up the Bud Factor X and my guy at the Hydro store threw in AN Carbo Load as a New Years Gift. Might be a little late to give it to them now WIth only 2 weeks left but I will give them a dose or two to see what happens. Hoping for Sticky Buds in '12. Self grown being the difference (c:. Got to admit I will be nervous until I actually do a smoke report

Your plants are beautiful.. This is an excellent report Cosz :D some really good topics being discussed here. I have been reading through very carefully over the past few weeks and i'm very impressed with your approach and temperament, so i'm going to add to your reputation. Sativa-phenos can be difficult to manage for some but you have done a fine job indeed. Your setup is clean and well organised, the grow space is very well thought out relative to your circumstances. Plenty to learn from here..

Thanks for sharing your experience

Not sure I am going to get monster Colas like some of the Photos of the month..

 Week five? - It's early days yet bro just you wait and see.. hehe..
