New Grower BillyWu's first grow - Think Different autoflowering

ah ok good good, id still leave it at that for another watering myself but all upto you obviously.

Thanks :] Yeah I'll see how it all goes. It took well to the first feeding, if it takes well to this one then I'll do the same thing again next week. No more feeding for at least 2 waterings now though, rather be safe than sorry :]

Day 9 update

Wow, this plant is tough! I expected it to react adversely to the double feed for this week, but surprisingly - even as a young plant - it's taken to both feeds quite well! No signs of burning at all, leaves are still a lovely green without a single patch of discolouration on them. It's growing beautifully!

I believe I had slightly heat stressed it before. After some time away from the hot lamp, it's recovered quite well. The new leaves are perfect with no signs of burning and the other ones haven't warped any more. The only thing left to do on my checklist is get some Dolomite Lime to increase the soil pH and bingo, that's everything!

Off to a great start bro im subbed for your grow cant wait to see those babies in bloom!!:booya:

Thanks :] People should be aware that this is only one plant I'm growing right now, in one 20 litre pot.

Day 10 update

Wow. Every day I look in the tent and it's grown new leaves. It's growing at an insane rate, even at such a young age!

Still no signs of nutrient burn at all. No signs of heat stress anymore either. Giving it a normal watering today, gonna up it's feed to 0.65-0.75mS next time. It handled 0.5 easy in two consecutive feedings :] In another 6-7 days I'll be switching over to vegetative nutes. Gonna keep adding small doses of root stim as well to ensure it keeps up its phenomal growth rate.

Hey Billy, good luck with your grow, I'm a first time grower so I know how buzzed you must be feeling right now. A couple of my little ladies are now about 3 1/2 weeks in and I'm amazed how quickly they are growing, I swear if I watch them long enough I can see them grow. Also, when I open my tent there is a nice, mellow fruity aroma, I grinned from ear to ear when I smelled that. People in this forum are brilliant and always helpful and willing to give advice, other forums I've been on and asked a couple of questions the response has been, "Look for the information yourself, there's loads of info on the internet", fucking pricks, forums are meant for people to discuss/give advice etc etc. I hope when I'm au faix with this growing lark I can pass on my knowledge to other people. I have a dream, and that dream is everyone ditches the dealer and ditch weed stays where it belongs, in the ditch.

My 2p's worth is that less is more, autos seem to be light feeders, I haven't given mine any nutes yet and they seem to be thriving and since I've stopped over-watering them, they look even happier and when my bitches are happy, I'm happy. BUT... I did start off with Biobizz Allmix which I believe has more nutes in it to start with. Also, someone suggested to me that a soil cover is a good idea, it stops the soil from drying out too much on top from the heat of the light and if you use reflective material it will bounce some light to the bottom leaves of your plant, but i haven't tried this yet, just passing it on.

Anyway, sorry for hijacking your thread with my ramblings, I've found the hardest part of growing is not being able to tell anyone/talk to anyone about it so I find myself chatting away to anons on teh Internet.

Oh, did you say what strain you are growing?

I agree with all the points there dude. It's annoying when people say "Go find your own information" when you ask for help. Very ignorant. This forum has had nothing but great people on it so far :]

I find it hard to not tell anyone either. My family know and 3 of my best friends, 1 of which is also growing and that's all the people I'm ever going to tell. This forum is great for chatting about things, can be really open :]
