Grow Mediums Barney’s Farm LSD-25 (photo) in 8.5L Autopots w/coco, TF nutrients, and AutoCobs

Yes, the 8.5 liter pots fit into the same trays as the 15l pots. First time using them and can’t wait to see how they produce in a 3x3 area.

As for the mutant, I’m growing it anyhow. It was the last to pop and was way behind the other three. Not sure what burned it, as she has had exactly the same treatment as the others. Nice thing about regulars, time to heal. Will be funny if it turns out to be a male. Never had one so obvious this early but it could be or it might wind up being the biggest producer of bud of the four. Right now it just looks like shit.
Thanks for the invite. Nice to see you back.

I have 2 auto pots that are the 8.5L size and I have not found any difference between the two sizes as far as yield is concerned. When I see the root development in the 15L pots I see little to no growth in top 3/4 of the pot. All of the roots are concentrated on the bottom 3". So I wonder why I need the larger size, 15L? Thanks for the invite :thanks: and good to read you again. :pighug:

Thanks for the tag old friend, subbed up for the ride. Took a respite for a while, but thankfully back in the game. Looking great as usual, good luck the rest of the way. :pop:

:bow:Thanks my friend, I knew you would be. How have you been these cold winter months?

I had the flu for nearly 3 weeks just after christmas, and we had enough snow that the kids could not go to school for a few days so i have had 4 of them on my own while the misses works,so yeah it's been fun
What you been up to bro anything exciting ?

Any comments or suggestions about my one mutant would be appreciated. I still suspect that it’s a boy! It’s is developing a different leaf style and has that stretchy, skinny look that males get as they try to gain height on the females to better spread their pollen. While the other three look the same and are staying low and bushing out.

Me personally i would pull the mutant bro,i wont grow mutants or bonsai trees because i am not wasting my time on something that "MIGHT" be ok,and you are like me,you have tons of seeds so it's so easy to just pop another seed

I know the feeling, I have a big plant i'm going to chop. took 60 days to START flower ( its suppose to be an auto..... )
......... now at 86 days and still not much happening. its just taking up valuable room......... hate to do it but she gets the axe today! I'd say as rough as that one looks, chop it.

I know, it’s just so difficult for me to pull one out. I have been down this road before and know it will be a waste of time, yet there is always that hope that this time it will be different. :crying:Isn’t that the definition of insanity?

Thanks for the invite. Nice to see you back.

I have noticed that with autos I rarely fill the 15 liter autopots. This is my first time with them and photo ladies and the roots might have a little more veg time. We shall see soon enough. I have grown four photos in 19 liter DWC buckets in this tent before when I first started growing and I know what can happen in there. Without a lot of training the monsters will outgrow the tent. This time my plan was to restrict their roots and then Scrog them into submission.

:thanks: Thanks for stopping by. It should be a good time. End of fall last year I had enough of growing. I mean, I love growing, but it had become my daily chore rather than my daily enjoyment. So I shut it down for the winter and smoked what I had built up over the last two years. It was nice, but I’m ready to watch the ladies grow again.

Thanks for the tag Hemi. I have small autopots too. I cut my regulars down to half size. you know its better for the environment! Uses less medium!
I also recycle my coco by putting into a heavy duty trash can with some water, Pondzyme, a big air stone, and let it bubble for a month or two. Then use a 15 liter autopot to drain it and let it dry on a tarp in the sun. Works great and the Pondzyme eats the roots and enriches your coco for the next grow.

Sorry to hear about the flu and being trapped with the young ones inside. I remember those days and am very glad mine are all grown and on their own.

You and pop22 are right and I know it and yes, seeds are not a problem. When I get home from work today, I’m going to drop a couple of these auto seeds I have. They are notorious for being quick and small, so might be able to make them work in that corner. I don’t think I want to slow the others down for another photo LSD to catch up.

thanks for tag bro count me in. happy growing ;)
Nice to have you along autobeast, they are not autos but I promise to make it interesting. Plus they are being grown in the most auto way to grow any cannabis, Autopots! :headbang:

Day 20

I know, I’m posting too often now.
But I wanted to get one more group shot before I remove the mutant from the garden. The other three are noticeably bigger every day and the other just doesn’t. It was the last to pop, the last to show up above ground, and still doesn’t look to be improving. Dropping a couple auto beans in the morning to replace it. I have some Crop Circles autos that are usually small and a quick turn around, so hopefully should not interfere with the others.

So here are the girls, and that other thing in all their glory on day 20. :smoking:
