Yeah this is what they recommend willie had told me about this when I was mentioning how I was getting that problem I was gonna add an air stone then I found out that will make everything crazy and this was the better route to go and I have to agree..

Do you just hook the line to this and drop it in res or you use a stone on the end?

Tomorrow is day 70. So today I decided to clean the trays just for the heck of it. Turns out that the tray that the green poison is in, was full of water.. Like the valve wasnt set right in the tray or something. So I dumped everything, cleaned and reconnected the system. I knew I had corrected my ph issues weeks ago because the sodk wasnt showing any issues. I'm pretty sure that extra water is why the green poison never recovered. Next run I will check all trays weekly. I'd say I have 2-3,more weeks max before this run is complete. It is definitely a learning experience!
