Update 12 Days Old ...... 42 hours since transplant ..... Temps range from 78 over nite to 80 daytime ..... Humidity around 60 percent ......

Starting with some LST Today, just a little gentle bend ...... Training wheels will stay on this AM and I’ll remove later this afternoon ...... I don’t leave the training wheels on full time and as we grow along different areas of the plant will get trained ..... Here are some pics but first pic up is strawberry nugs, she is still in the baby room .....

Nugs has a few more days to go and then she will be in the tent with Gold Glue and 24k

Looking realky happy! I see a postive change already. Mine all take off within a few days of transplant. You have a little more suffed in your cap than I did to start, which might slow down wicking for the first week. But I predict some explosive growth starting within a week. Strawberry Nuggets is a BOG strain. Notorious for being slower out the gate and can be sensitive. Personally mine looked better than it was strength wise. The purple pheno looked nice, but didnt press ROSIN great. However Infind that most Purple strains dont press great. Both strains grow similar in shape, BUSH. Good job so far. You will have an excellent grow. Lets see how much bigger theybare in a week. Peace, slow

@slowandeasy ..... For sure a week, even two weeks, they are growing roots like crazy right now ...... This Grow I got dialed in much quicker than with Sam, seems experience is paying off - Outdoors with veggies and the sun I do well but indoor is another animal, environment is oh so important .....

Due to condensation from the Cap plenty of moisture dripping thru and the worms seem happy working on top eating the mulch so all seems good ..... I feel that if I just pay attention to the worms health all will work out and right now they are looking good ......

Pic of strawberry Nugs - she is still few days away from transplant .... Easy to tell with the pots, simply look at underside drain holes for emerging roots and right now I see a tip of one so closer but not yet ..... Like to get my humidity up a tad but had to move humidifier to other room so she suffers a little but otherwise able to hold good stable temp.

Thanks for joining @Dabber ...... Thread needs some color:drool:

Overhead View ..... We have a little training going on - candy cane hooks pulling on cola bud ..... Wanna encourage some lower growth - train the plant to grow sideways for awhile and obtain a nice even canopy - I want to try and keep the cola bud at same general height as rest of plant - challenging but I’m going to try ......

The damp rags you see help do two things - add humidity and keep the plastic cap in contact with the soil / mulch underneath which in turn condensates and moisture passes thru the top dressings carried down into the root zone.

Day 14

Growth is just starting .... Training is ongoing but I do give them a rest every so often - These are shorter strains anyways and the lights should get good penetration in the first two foot anyways so thinking thru the grow perhaps I won’t train these as heavy as I did Sam in previous grow ...... Strawberry Nugs is coming along but still few more days for her to fill out starter pot ..... Here are a few pics ....

Strawberry Nugs getting close to transplant time

Gold Glue - She doesn’t like as much light as 24k - Some slight inward leaf curl on her - Adjusted slightly to reduce and will watch closely .....

24K - love the color on her - she bends easy compared to gold glue .....

Beautiful looking gals. It’s a challenge for me not to viciously train them. Gotta learn to be zen about it and keep my hands to myself lol

Nice green on those sip gals!

I hear ya and thank you too .....

Rethinking the training on these myself but I do know gold glue will need some work to expose the lower sites and the last gold glue I grew I didn’t get after her early enough and the lower buds suffered some but I also had a different light - this new Green Sky ES180 has a much more even light distribution and I feel it gets deeper down into the canopy so we shall see here in a couple months - the previous gold glue was such a nice looker so expectations are running high for this one .....

Now the Strawberry Nugs that is coming I’ve grown two of them and both were different but I do know I will train her hard out of the gate - so we will see how that works out ..... Experience with these plants I lack but learning about the differences as I grow .....

Thanks for checking out!

Here is the reality of growing MOST autos. Each seed is different and it is very hard to replicate grows. Many factors effect each plants end result. Both of those strains typicall grow bushy, sometimes only minor training is best for bushy plants. That is actually why I like your Candy cane tech. You can train as much or little as you want. Sometimes only a couple of days are needed to train a branch and you can control the direction of growth to your needs. For example, I had to put 2 canes on a cola roget her the way I wanted her to go. In a couple days you can remove the canes and it will have stiffen up in the new direction. Now you may need to add one here and there, but it doesnt take long. Certain strains train easier than others. A thick Indica will have stiffer stems as they grow vs a tall sativa. Early training on stiff thick plants is easier to manipulate, but I prefer to train mostly in veg anyways. Stems are less stiff before flowering kicks in. Then only minor training is needed for light exposure and Airflow once in flower.
