Use the Junior or the Original .... do not use the root Earthbox .... Junior is perfect for smaller plants and the original for larger plants .... Junior can do larger as well but in the Original you’ll grow a monster - 1 Original in 2x4 or 3x3 tent with one plant or two juniors like I have but know you are looking at an oversized 2x4 it’s actually 28.75 by 53” or over 10 square feet - if I had normal 2x4 it would be really tight ....

If not taking Earthbox I guess I don’t have enough experience to voice an opinion but I would think, Stoners Science that if square was better, earthboxes would be square other than the box for root vegetables.

I actually don’t really know what original junior or earth boxes are? Those brands are not available to me so I don’t even bother checking them out. Just Googled them though. I have access to very solid local built SIPs. Only thing is, I have a choice between a larger rectangular or a smaller square.

I think the larger rectangular pot will probably be close to the Junior you are using. Don’t have a local version of Original unless tall and narrow so not gonna bother.

So looks like I’ll get one of these Junior lookalikes and see what I can do with them? Lucky for me, I’ve been taking notes from all you old boys! Lol

Wow nice grow and loads of good info took me over 2 hours a spliff and 3 coffees to read loving the strawberry nugz had my eye on her for a while but she's always out of stock have u tried mephisto sour crack she's in stock and I'm itching to try some mephistogenetics

you guys are light years a head of me I'm that much of a noob I found some earth worms in my back garden when I was letting the ladys sunbathe one time so after a few bowls I thought cool i'll add them to my soil will be cool having living soil any way I checked on the plant the next day and on top of the soil laid some crispy worms

Here is my opinion, I think the rectangular shape and low profile are perfect for most home growers. Many tents are rectangular, and the low profile allows for more head room. I do not know if the performance would be different in a square version, but possibly if the depth was different as Autos can go longer in deeper pots IMO. I might make some square SIPs to grow clones in. The only thing the Juniors are not good for is trying to run 2 clones in 1 pot. So I might try a different approach, that is easier to top dress. Top dressing 1 plant is easy, but 2 clones in 1 pot is too tight of space to top dress. I have a few ideas thst might work well? Peace, slow

Think NUGS is stretching pretty good .... in a 15 hour period I saw one site in the front grow from 8” below cola height to cola height and now she is going higher - think you can see the cola on the left front - she is close to main cola height in the middle - this plant is turning into a monster with bud sites all over the flipping place ..... I tucked, pulled, candy canes and a few other tricks including bow tie and I’m real happy with number of sites popping up, now hopefully they will fill out .... I’ve also cut about 24-30 leaves, more to go but a little at a time but the darn thing is producing more than I’m cutting and she is drinking like crazy now - Goldie has slowed but NUGS has charged higher - 24k is chugging along, getting closer. Peace MOB

She needed the stretch, getting big! She will go longer than 30 more days most likely. But should yield decently. Good work, slow

Matter of fact, Sour Livers just started some training classes couple days ago - the idiot trainer (me) damaged a leaf tip but all should be ok.
