Mephisto Genetics White Crack + Sour Livers SIP LOS Grow

The ponytail tech is my mandatory go to tech for the super compact plants like sn, gg, and 24c like plants. Just don’t leave things trained to long.
cheers

Too long, funny you mention as that is my thinking - 7 hours seemed to be ok but sessions are usually shorter, especially pony tail .....

With GG and 24k just the CC seem to work fine - that and tucking a few leaves here and there .....

kinda disappointed in 24k thus far - Mephisto has her at 60-90 grams - I’m looking at 20-30 grams unless she has a growth spurt - she looks healthy just not a lot of bud sites - she is also does not like a lot of light, I got some canoeing of the leaves when we hit 350 PAR on the meter - but again she looks heathy - any thoughts Sinse?

Training session pic .... hey @slowandeasy - check out the two CC hanging on cola - they are hanging plant hanger extension hooks and if you look on left you’ll see another holding down a side branch

note serrations slight curling upward and if you look at above pic on right you can see on the lower leaves - too much light and she is one the end, not middle of the light - while light has good even spread she is in the lowest light spot with light raised on her end and she still has issues with too much light - makes a good case for individual COB lights ....

She is fast, got pulled over @Jc420bigbud but got off with a warning, think the cop was a bud man

She is growing really fast @MOB! I think that she will be done in 4 more weeks at this rate. She is a nice bush, do you think she will yield as much as last round? I dont see her stretching a ton, but she will bulk up a lot. FWIW, I know the 24 carat is your smallest one. Even tho they claim 60-90g average..there are smaller phenos thst yields less and stays smaller. So dont worry if yours isnt a large pheno. Unfortunately with Autos you dont know which pheno you have each time you pop a bean. Unlike cloning your favorite photo pheno, it is hard to replicate Auto grows consistently. I have personally has a really small 24 Carat phenoa couple of times and i have done 20+ of them. Your plants look healthy and flowering fast. Keep it up MOB. Nice workx slow

Thanks for that slow .... appreciate it :toke:

My last Nugs which was my first only yielded 45 grams from 8-9 sites - her fan leaves by nature prevented many sites and she was tough to train and what little I could do didn’t do much .... too little - too late .....

I JUMPED on this Gal, she is way ahead in bud sites, about 12 plus cola and she is being grown in more soil, 6 gallons verses under 5 and this is SIP last was cloth and cloth pot did have wet dry cycles, the worms did ok but I only got 8-12 out of the pot at end verses 50 put in whereas Sam had more so I think the SIP vs Cloth will play into better yield too - ballpark 75 grams ....

24k must be smaller girl who doesn’t like a lot of light - she will get moved once Sour Livers roots which she is pushing up soil tonite, expect to see her head tomorrow - about ten days in humidity dome and transplant time - will setup single light for 24k and move SL into tent.

Peace,
MOB

Sounds like a plan! I just dropped 4 seeds into water literally 2 min ago. I decided to have a little fun. I had a 4 pack of Mystery seeds from SAG, so I poured them into a cup of water and set them in my black tote with Heating pad/thermostat. I like to soak for about 24-36 hours and then plant, they usually have a decent tail by then. I have the Rootmakers waiting to be tried out. So these will be my first time using them. My starter soil will be here in a day or so. Perfect timing!

Nice call on tote, never thought of that .... I like to soak more than 24 too, especially with direct plant - I add some B1 to the water, not much just a touch ..... Be interesting your take on the rootmakers, personally I really like - if you have issues popping out I just cut corners and rip plastic sides down and she comes right out - no shock - a trick I do is make the transplant hole by taking rootmaker and molding dirt around the rootmaker and new plant will slip right in the newly made hole verses mounding dirt around the actual plant after you pull out or just digging hole and pushing dirt back ....

SL popped up this AM so in 10-12 days will transplant and NUGS grew again, hehehe!

Hey @MrOldBoy , good luck with Sour Livers! Fwiw, I always make a pre hole to fit my transplants...but I appreciate the reminder that they sometimes stick in the Rootmaker. I will be planting all 4, if they germ properly. I will then move them to a starter tent. I have somewhat decided how I want to start my new set up. My 4x8band 7x7 need to be replaced. However, Ibam going to do things a little differently. I dont like my 7x7 anyways. I feel like it wastes some space. I will be replacing my 7x7bwith a 5x5 and 2 of the 2x4 tents. I was going to get a 2 in 1 tent...but buying a 2x4 tent and a rack to start seeds and clones is much cheaper and the same thing. So 1 of the 2x4 will be to start only Juniors. You can start up to 4 side by side.and the other is my Photo/Clone starting tent. When the time is right I will use my 20x36 tent to be my pollen creating tent. The rest will be flowering. Peace, slow
