Mephisto Genetics White Crack + Sour Livers SIP LOS Grow

Hey @MrOldBoy , good luck with Sour Livers! Fwiw, I always make a pre hole to fit my transplants...but I appreciate the reminder that they sometimes stick in the Rootmaker. I will be planting all 4, if they germ properly. I will then move them to a starter tent. I have somewhat decided how I want to start my new set up. My 4x8band 7x7 need to be replaced. However, Ibam going to do things a little differently. I dont like my 7x7 anyways. I feel like it wastes some space. I will be replacing my 7x7bwith a 5x5 and 2 of the 2x4 tents. I was going to get a 2 in 1 tent...but buying a 2x4 tent and a rack to start seeds and clones is much cheaper and the same thing. So 1 of the 2x4 will be to start only Juniors. You can start up to 4 side by side.and the other is my Photo/Clone starting tent. When the time is right I will use my 20x36 tent to be my pollen creating tent. The rest will be flowering. Peace, slow

Hey slow, Gorilla had an amazing sale on the 5x5, may still be happening ..... I have a 2x4 but it’s an oversized one, pretty nice tent so you might look at it at HTG Supply - believe it is their own line - I got extra set of roof support poles for no charge and this tent is built to hang anything and I can slide my light left right front back no problem and other options when you have more root support .... tent does have some shortcomings but overall I do like the extra space for a 2x4 and height is good as well.

For a Gorilla Tent, 30% off is nice. However I have cobs that dont weigh much and no need to spend a ton on a tent. I can get a 5x5 and 2 of the 2x4 tents for cheaper on Amazon. I am using the 2x4 tents for starting my plants. The shape of the Juniors is a good fit to start in that size tent. Sometimes you can over train plants if you have more space it is easier to lay branches out a little too much on certain plants.

Hey - Hi Westcoast -:thanks: for checking out ..... For sure I can relate to the west coast - Davis, CA was stomping grounds - Savis is between Sacramento and San Francisco for those not familiar .....

Nugs I’m my gosh, cure her right, you’ll absolutely love her such a sweet smell - I had one other but yield was low- half what I got out of her other tent mates but even with that poor yield I still selected to grow with hopes of better yield - such a good looking gal too  You my friend are I for a real treat - give her plenty of love - you will be rewarded.

Best of grows,
MOB

She has survived her training sessions, thus far and roots are almost established - not consuming water like her sister Goldie yet but then she is younger and a totally different type of plant

Speaking about tents, anyone have experience with 600D vs 1680D? Basically Gorilla/Mars Hydrogen vs the rest in the market?

I've done my research and am aware of the differences on paper. However, I've never used a tent and would be great to get your real life inputs. Do I need the thicker material? Or will it be worse for me, due to my very hot climate?

I've read reviews that say 600D is more than enough, but also some that say 1680D or bust? I'm leaning towards 1680D though. Will be getting a 4×8 and a 5×5.

Thank you all in advance!

I don’t have any experience or knowledge to share other than I have a small 24x30 Gorilla that is well built but what I don’t like about either of my tents is lack on vents and exhausts and sizes .....

I think, and I don’t own, just looking but I think tent has the most vents and openings and reviews and price are good - this is a nicely thought out 4x8
