Mephisto Genetics White Crack + Sour Livers SIP LOS Grow

The Koot put an airstone in his but his thought was to keep nutes mixed up- he's using coco. The issue I see with that is I tried one in a bucket to mix nutes and found ph jumping all over and mainly higher. I had to turn it off and let water settle for a bit to get a good reading.
I was thinking of mixing soil with coco to help with the air issue. I know in traditional pots and top fed nutes that's a no no but this whole style is different.
Koots SIP

Good video, like his overflow and buttons on bottom work well - what I like when you raise container the little drain tray fits better - I have 2x4 under mine ...... he is growing hydro basically using coco and perlite and nutrients ..... my grow is LOS so the air stone in my reservoir would be in just water, his is in a nutrient solution and he must monitor PH where LOS not so much, soil adjusts if not too far outa wack .....

Koot also mentions at start of grow he studied Pedro - watch this Pedro video of one plant in an Original Earthbox fills 2x4 tent .... BAS used and no nutrients other than EM1 and top dressings I believe

The one and only Coot (jim), would have a heart attack over being confused with that grow tech.
Someone mentioned pH going up when they bubble water. What temporarily happens is the carbon/ carbonates from the air raises the pH. After the air settles out of the water, it will return back really close to the original pH.
cheers
os

Suspect he would chuckle first before the attack - super knowledgeable- a legend .....

Thanks for the PH explanation, interesting stuff, never knew that! Best MOB

White Crack is hanging - branches are heavy and looks nice and frosty - expecting some nice hard buds from this girl

haha thanks, been gardening for a long time and have dealt with most of those critters outside with the veggies and probably others as well.. ive never had a mite decapitate a seedling though.. that was a first for me.. thanks again!

btw Double grape down n in paper bags..talk about trichome production..just wooow.. all the stems had trichs , also a first...but a good one!
so hard to trim though.. everything sticking together! had to peel the buds off the trim table to manicure!
maybe ill get some good pics later..started 2 auto blues x sour bubbly and theyve been put into final pots with the re-amended soil..
soil is nice and loamy now..should be interesting...

Ya thx buddy! Had that window already opened actually but it just shows a mite in general and not a way to identify good/bad mites! Also mines foxtailed from rh shooting up when flower started (figures now I got it steady between 40-50%) but ya the stems are def also straight caked in trichs! Using this for my moms edibles I’ll need to dilute the butter/oil or I’ll put her in a coma! Double grape is by far my frostiest strain I’ve grown!
