Personally I don't like messing with the big fan leaves as they are the engines of your plant and tucking is all I ever do while they are still vegging.

Definitely something to play around with I just supercropped these girls yesterday and they just laughed at me, will continue to tuck the fans the best I can honestly I rather pluck them to allow more light to hit budsites
and the lowers like you said just tuck while in veg I snipped a few smaller leaves here and their but nothing like those hand sized fans

Looking awsome i have already snipped a few fans for that exact reason.there big fan leafs on these girls.were blocking good sites.snip away at any auto 4 weeks plus of age if healthy and strong.will be no shock or ill effect.and the goliath is huge mate 2.5 ft by 2.5ft and weights 57 pound,about 4 stone.i had to build a custom frame to sit on top of my tent to hold the weight of the mighty goliath.its no light weight.and performs awsome as can be seen in my plants.and u see the true natural colour of ur plants under the perfectsun spectrum.looking in my tent at the plants is like looking at a plant outside in my garden.quite impressive and makes easier to spot any trouble accouring niel aka growpotcheeply is awsome.il.always be thankful to the bloke.top grower and led maker happy growing every1[/

I most likely will do another defol haven't quite decided yet about the huge fans 4 as it seems they might just be getting the chop when I start feeding bloom nutes/when stretch stops... That's one big reason I choose spectrum king is that with the sun like spectrum makes looking at the girls an excitement being able to see them in true color is amazing, yea Neil has produced some top notch grows I also listen to the dudegrowshow a radio podcast those dudes rock [emoji41][emoji41][emoji41]

Day 37 update

The girls are loving life still no sign of burnt tips or any deficiencies will fill Rez one more time with grow nutes then switch too bloom as the stretch seems to be coming to a hault I couldn't resist any longer a few of the huge fans got the axe and a lil defol they are taking it nicely so all is well [emoji1362][emoji41][emoji41] first up the 3bears og

This girl has been suppercropped a lil bit the side blooms are pretty even with a larger main cola(I cropped the main today should've done sooner)

she has endured tons of bending and pinching and honestly I love her structure after doing so makes for a more even canopy tons of tops [emoji41][emoji41] and stalk after clean up

Welp things are looking pretty good this round so far I left out a few additives that was used last round no recharge in Rez top feeding recharge every 3 to 4 days and I also haven't used any ph up or down just letting remos ph balance do its thing and it seems to be working lights have also been lowered to 15in preparing for bloom [emoji1360]

Thanks jay, yea they're a decent size I'll b ok if they don't get any bigger! Budsite development really starting to kick in now stretch slowing way down so should see some real action soon as long as I can improve on my yield from the first round with these autopots I'll be satisfied I had root rot now I'm in coco and the girls are just loving life [emoji41][emoji41][emoji41]

awesome mate all big strong girls.my 3 bears kept growing taller and wider even after I switched to bloom mate.so id say expect abit more growth yet from them.mine are now huge but I cnt snap pics.phoine packed in. so in for repair.soon as get it back il show u some pics mate.keep up the good work happy growing

Thanks roasty I'm definitely satisfied with the overall growth this round just a couple of happy girls going to town [emoji23] I started using recharge after listening to the dudegrowshow scotty uses coco with a lil bit of worm castings and the recharge just tops it off... just don't put it in your Rez gets all gunky, thanks man really trying to keep a even canopy I hate popcorn I'd love to try a lil lst to open them up some more [emoji1360]

Thanks for the kind words the autopots deserve all the praise they are really a great investment for all levels of growers im just taking pics hahaha I may raise the lights back up as I lowered them a few inches I'd be happy with some more stretch give me some more room to play with [emoji1360][emoji1360][emoji1360]

Day 45 update last Rez fill up I went with 5gal of ro primo water/1ml per L of grow and .5ml per L of bloom also 1ml per L of Magnifical along with velokelp some rhino skin and mammoth p as I'm making the switch to bloom nutes next Rez fill up(tomorrow) I'd like to point out my ppms got up too 750 during the veg stage no signs of deficiencies or burnt tips in search of the sweet spot, remos line has a nutrient calculator I've been sticking pretty close to it and also I have only had to ph down on one Rez all the others were left to the ph balance of the line [emoji41][emoji41]

the crack has been cropped a few times I'll say it worked pretty good as her canopy is super even plenty of colas forming which I'm pretty excited about indeed [emoji41][emoji41][emoji41]

These girls are rocking I've lowered the lights to 13in from a previous height of 15in above canopy they will end up at 10 for flower I have still been top feeding recharge every 3 to 4 days at 8oz a piece and foliar feeding velokelp with Magnifical(last time was today) no signs of lockout or any issues that I notice very pleased so far with this round [emoji1360][emoji1362][emoji41] until next time...
