I've been a Harley rider most of my life and I still am and I'm an old fart now. My first Harley was an 1961 CH Sportster that I bought when I was 16. Most of my bikes have had loud pipes. In fact my nickname back in the 70's was Loud Pipes and I'm still referred to as that when I run into some of the old gang when I go back home. My current non snow months car is a somewhat modded Ford Mustang GT that has headers and axle back Pype Bombs and guess what-it has loud pipes. Not overly loud but nice sounding. . Always have and always will love the sound of a good running engine. It's music to my ears. Pipes
