New Grower Under $100 CFL Grow

Hello all,
So I built this budget asf cfl grow space for shits and giggles for under $100 to see how a plant grows under cheap cfls and also wanted to see how much I can stress an auto and I thought you all might get a laugh out of it as I certainly have

So firstly, heres what I have used.
8 x 24w cfls
3 x old bits of wood/cupboard drawer doors ( to make a closed in space up against a wall)
3 x bbq tin trays
3 x pieces of wood laying around all different sizes (to screw light fixtures too)
4 x light sockets
4 x light socket splitters
1 x cheap ass tiny ass fan
And some tin foil that i sticky taped to the wood/cupboard draws that i used to "close off a small area"

Using rock nutrients and growing in coco w 30% perlite in a 10L pot
1 plant grow using chimpglue (GG4xOG KUSH) by s.a.g

Now ive had to keep her super low as i have fuck all space and as its just a little cfl experiment that im not to fussed about I have stressed the fuck out of it to see what happens. Topped, lst, alot of defoliation. Even snapped one if the main tops off at about day 25ish LOL. Currently at the point were im defoliating every 3ish days about 20ish leaves as its getting so bushy and need that light penetration

But seems to be going strong even after all the abuse lol. Interested to see how this one turns out anyways. Am at day 40 now, here, enjoy some pics.

Well mate its your first grow and you've already learned the most important rule to growing autos. Stressed is best.
Lots of guys will tell you not to play with autos but as long as the genetics are solid they grow much better.
Tremendous effort like. Not sure how your buds will turn out under cfl but I'm subbing up to find out. Seen a few guys pull off cfl growing pretty well. Not many manage it but you seem to be doing all the right things so we might be plesantly surprised. Best of luck mate.

Thanks for that mate, appreciate it. Its been through hell thats for sure haha but always seems to bounce back. Yeah going to be interesting to see how the buds will turn out, Im not going to add anymore lights so we shall see what happens I guess I dont have any expectations so Im not fussed with how it turns out and to be honest I really didnt think it would survive all the abuse haha

Looks awesome for cfl! I know you’re experimenting, but at this point , I’d spend a few bucks on 2700k led bulbs. Looks like maybe 4 oz’s & I would want to maximize its potential. Either way nice growing, you definitely got the training down! Good job !
