Long winded question here…..

am I better off getting a 650r and 1.5 square tent with a 350 hlg in a 1.2 square as well

or

I better off keeping the 1.2 x 2.4 meter tent I have and putting the 650r one side with the 350 in the other

or

am I better off keeping my current tent with 3 350s?

Any thoughts would be appreciated guys

I think maybe the 3 350s... The big 650 is a monster and your kinda stuck with a big tent for just that.. If you go for 3 350s at least you can swap and change tents in the future and have some flexibility.. I think the 350s will be easier to dial in...
I run 2 x 300s in a 1.2 x 1.2 area and barely turn em past 2 notches at 24 inches to dial them in to each stage of the grow..

They are stunningly good lights but were not really designed for tents in mind... Rather big rooms with lots of lights up high n bright for room coverage... So in little tents like ours they kick arse at low volume.. So I think a 650 is a bit over kill.

Nice one mate. I am torn between the 3 350s and the one 650r in a 1.5 tbh. Come to think of it I don’t have enough sockets to run 3 lights .

Dunno mate.. I'm a flavour as opposed to weight hound so I don't bother weighing anything... Its better than with hps... Quality is up too.. Growth is fast and vigorous under them. That 650 will wilt the hell out of your plants if you turn it up in a tent.. You will never be able to run it flat out.. Get yourself a lux meter so you can dial it In for each stage of the grow... That way you won't stunt them if it's too bright.
