weather has been suprisingly good. iv watched a wild plant grow in my back alley now its huge. it reminds me of a cannabis plant and what could be.but indoors for me safe and sound. good job keep at it. Happy growing

Sorry mate not true actually. Some plants don’t need one at all and get on with their shit regardless. They don’t need a dark period to do what some plants do at night. Can’t remember the proper term for it, but it’s a fact [emoji106]

fact is every cannabis plant needs a dark period. just cause u can grow a plant and it will bloom on 24 dont mean its the correct thing to do. cannabis plant is a plant of the earth and all plants need a dark period as nature intended. during the dark period all plant uptakes all the nutrients properly. ready for the next day of light.happy growing every1

You are incorrect when you say all plants need a dark period. End of. That’s just not the case. Only in peoples heads because we need sleep so we humanise everything else in life.

Autos dont need dark..........at all..........ever.

mine got about 20 minutes today cos the leccy meter ran out, cant remember the last time i turned it off on purpose tbh. my timer is too complicated so its in a box somewhere.

Even the roots dont need complete dark,its better if they do but its not vital.

the reason we have the auto gene is because ruderalis in the extreme northern hemisphere didn't have access to a 12/12 light phase, it's perpetual daylight . So as nature always does, it found a way to bypass the 12/12, and AUTO on age, not light. So not all plant's need the gap in daylight, whether it's beneficial on the other hand, is a whole other discussion
